After a long day of shopping, we were getting hungry. Since we had Japanese cuisine earlier today, we decided to have fusion cuisine at Spaghetti 360 tonight. During the busiest hour, you have to check in with the hostess to get a number. We had a short wait but it was totally worth the wait. For drinks, we ordered a Tsingtao and a Hot Black Oolong Brown Rice Tea. The Black Oolong Brown Rice Tea consisted of black oolong tea bag and roasted rice. It was served in a light, clear teapot. I felt like the tea was steep too long. For appetizers, we split a Miso Eggplant on Sizzling Plate, which consisted of three pieces of eggplant marinated in sweet miso glaze and topped with bonita flakes and scallion. I’d admit that I burnt my tongue on the first bite. It was quite deliciously authentic. For entrees, we ordered:(1) Rice with Eel and Chicken Teriyaki Chicken Fillet in Stone Pot with Teriyaki Sauce and(2) Spaghetti with Prawn and Avocado in Pesto Sauce. The Rice with Eel and Chicken Teriyaki Chicken Fillet in Stone Pot was lacking in Teriyaki sauce and the rice was hard. The Spaghetti with Prawn and Avocado in Pesto Sauce consisted of spaghetti, shrimp, fresh avocado, fresh mushroom, pesto sauce, and garlic herb infused olive oil. The dish had a great taste to it. I liked how the pesto sauce wasn’t heavy or overpowering.
