Really good Sichuan food here(I dig the mapo tofu and the way they serve it, not to mention the tea), and the service is actually very attentive and good(a rarity in Hong Kong). Pricing wise, because its right in LKF isn’t the cheapest thing though

We came here on a Thursday evening around 7:30. Service was very attentive and courteous. We got vegetarian ma po tofu, and vermicelli with black mushroom. Broad beans for appetizer. It was all very delicious and was served very promptly. Loved it. Thanks for making my last night in Hong Kong so delicious.

Definitely one of the more authentic Sichuan restaurants in Hong Kong. Would return anytime! I was with a few Chinese customers who were visiting from(you guessed it) — Sichuan region itself! Wanted them to give me their opinion if the taste here was just as authentic as in their hometown. They have it the thumbs up! Their only gripe was for the price tag, of course being in HK where rent & labour is much higher. The dried chilli lamb was lovely but the small pieces seem to disappear amongst the lot of chillies. The white fish cooked with sour vegetables and glass noodles was tasty and naturally, mapo tofu is a must! Cold chicken for starters — the most sumptuous of the lot! You would have a lovely time here.

Good location, good lunch set menu. Good portion size and seemed authentic, at least some of the dishes. Had the beef slices and fried chicken coupled with a side or rice. Finished with peanut soup, which was delicious. Good find and better than some others. Maybe not the most genuine Sichuan spot but caters to a western palette. Service is ok but they seemed rush. Always taking food away quickly, sometimes before I finished.

The foods are ok. With pretty plating and nice flavor. But when we were in the restaurant. They messed up with our order twice. And server left early so they forgot our dessert. It was pretty nice at the start but ended badly. Disappointed.

I met up with one of my friends for lunch here. It was really good Sichuan food. We had the spicy fish in a broth. We had dried beef. We also order some veggie dishes. All in all, well worth checking out if you are in the mood for Sichuan food and you are in the area.

This is my first time giving 5 stars. I went for their lunch menu that is $ 128 per person. The food is good, the portion is generous, the environment is classy and the service is good. For $ 128, there are lot of lunch choices in Central. But for a decent siuchuan style lunch, I don’t think you can find any better than this. The quality started from the cup of tea that was served — they served an authentic«Kung fu» herbal tea instead of the regular pot of tea served by other Chinese restaurants. The entrée not only taste good but was also nicely presented(the picture that I took won’t do justice as I ate ¾ of the dish already). The portion of the main dish is generous and tastes good. At the end they also serve a dessert«腰果糊» which is very nice. The restaurant is properly staffed — ie. You don’t have to wave your hand too much to have a waiter to serve you. It’s just getting rare to have a restaurant that is adequately staffed these days…
