Korean Street Food restaurant with great food and low prices. Be warned it is popular and they have long lines around meal times. I love this place. Their food is addictive.

Innovative and yummy Korean food, though a bit expensive for the portions. They also automatically add a 10% service fee to your bill. Unlike most other restaurants, they don’t offer any sort of meal sets or afternoon tea sets. The food is delicious though, and overall It’s a fun place to dine at occasionally, or as a casual date spot! We tried a couple of their signature dishes: (1) Squid Ink Kim Bap — the rice is actually dyed black with a hint of squid flavoring, and the filling is cooked squid. It was my first time trying squid ink sushi, and I actually really enjoyed it. You can definitely taste the squid, but it’s not overly fishy. Definitely recommend trying this at least once. (2) Korean Fried Chicken w/Green Onion Salad — the chicken was so so so good. The batter-to-chicken ratio was on point, and it was fried perfectly without being too oily. Each chicken piece had a nice crunch, and was coated with a tangy and spicy sauce. The spicy green onion ‘salad’ complemented the chicken well as a lighter side. **Get a stamp card! You get a stamp for every $ 50HKD you spend, and after 10 stamps, you get $ 50 credit.

Great Korean«street food». Had a spam roll for the first time in my life and was skeptical but it was tasty. Tried a few different dishes and all were good. Line at 8pm on a Sunday night was about 20 minutes for 2.

Awesome Korean street food at very affordable prices! Many of their dishes are not traditional and full of character. I cannot find them in other Korean restaurants in Hong Kong. It serves some addictive dishes that keeps me coming back: 1) squid ink kim Bap(Korean sushi) 2) carbonara rice cake /noodle 3) hellish spicy rice cake — I don’t know what it is. It’s burning my tongue but I still want to put more into my mouth. 4) fried chicken with scallion salad The lines are much better now. I usually come«off hours» e. g 12noon for lunch or 6pm for dinner and avoid the lines.

First restaurant that I eat upon arrival to Hong Kong and it is Korean. That said, I was so happy to check this place out. I literally don’t remember the names of the exact dishes, but I remember the amazing alfredo noodles, maki, and ramen that my friends and I ordered. The prices were a bit steep, however, definitely worth the investment for high quality Korean food! I will be sure to update when I return to this location in Causaway Bay.

Finally a Korean restaurant that’s not serving Korean BBQ in Hong Kong. The portions are rather small so it’s good whether you come with your significant other or your friends. Food is really good if you can look pass the long queue.(Is there any good restaurants out there you don’t have to queue these days?) I guess HKers have been trained to queue so well an hour of your life standing in line doesn’t seem much? Oh well. Glad they opened a few more shops in Hong Kong so I no longer have to come to this one is CWB. Yay!

I’ve heard so many good things about this restaurant, and every time I pass by, I felt the urge to give this restaurant a try! Finally, a girlfriend and I decided to take the whole night off and check out what the hype was all about. We got there around 6:30 on a Monday night(we naively thought the wait wouldn’t be as long if it was on a Monday. Boy, were we ever wrong!). We waited for nearly 2 hours, standing right in front of the hostess. As we were standing there, I noticed one very simple but critical issue that explains why the line ups are so hideously long! She doesn’t ask how many people in the party, and when their number comes up, she just waits until the next table is free before she seats the numbers after. So for example if I was number 71 and I had 3 people in my party, and there was a table for 2 available, she would wait until a table for 3 became available. I’m sorry, but that must be the worst system in restaurant history. When we finally sat down and ordered, the food came at lightning speed. Everything came all at once and we ended up not having any room on our table! Good thing was, the food was pretty good. I really liked the rolls. I really liked the Blooming Mari and the squid ink mari. They were both very tasty and i appreciate the presentation of the dish. It was cute and not presented like how most«rolls» are presented. They actually put some thought and time into it. Aside from that, I don’t think the fried chicken was any special. I still don’t really understand what the hype was all about. I mean, if I had to line up for even 30 minutes next time, I doubt I would go back. I guess the wait wasn’t just about the food, it was more for the korean craze in hk these days!

Most of the girls LOVE korean food and I have no exception! Kimchi, Rice Noodles, Korean BBQ… ALL are my favourite. After watching the movie in IFC, we went back to Causeway Bay to find some food to eat. Finally, we decided go to school food again! It is located in the heart of Causeway Bay on the 13th floor of Times Square, just 2 minute walk from the MTR exit A. As we all know, it is a famous chain restaurant in Korea. I like its modern design and the combination for western style cuisine. This is my 4th time to come to School Food for dinner! I like this kind of causal environment especially after watching the Korean TV drama, it makes me so wanna eat Korean food… I know it’s a bit crazy, Okay! This time I was going with my best friend. After queuing for long long long time(around 1 hour, It’s terrible!), we got the seat finally!!! We both like spicy food so we ordered a Squid ink mari sushi roll, Spicy Noodle with Rice Cake and fried chicken salad. For the Squid ink mari sushi roll, needless to say, it’s a Must try! I love all the combinations. The taste is a bit spicy and we like it very much! It’s very delicious! And the Spicy Noodle with Rice Cake is just so so, maybe it is not spicy enough, a bit disappointed, I won’t try this next time. But the Fried Chicken Salad is sooo good, with mixed greens and honey mustard mayonnaise on top, which is one of my favourite. And we ordered some juice which cost $ 98/bottle, it’s a bit expensive but it is so fresh. We all think that the food overall are quite good and with reasonable price, and I know the group opened its second and third School Food restaurant in Festival Walk and ShaTin New Town Plaza. I suggest better go there during weekdays if you don’t want to waste too much time for waiting. You have to know you are not the only Korean cuisine addicts out there! Worth a try!
