This place is pricey and the breakfast was the most mediocre we’ve had in Hong Kong. At $ 15USD a plate and almost $ 6 for a good coffee, we expected more than processed sausage and out of a can beans. Had we missed this place, our food experience in Hong Kong would have been perfect. The coffee was good but again, pricey and with so many great baristas and great coffee houses with dope ambiance, don’t make the trip here.

THEYHAVEREALLYCOLDAIR-CONDITIONINGHERE! This is a luxury during the hot months in Hong Kong(which is about 9⁄12 months of the year). Also they have really good coffee and the prices are cheaper than a lot of the coffeeshops in Hong Kong(especially the ones by sheung wan that I like). I always get their iced coffee with almond milk along with their smoked salmon sandwich! Their coffee is a lot more aromatic and stronger than a lot of other coffee shops in hk. Also, their coffee is less acidic too. I mean there’s not a lot of good coffee in hk. One more thing I like about this place is that they have a lot of milk options. They let you pick between almond milk, soy milk, low-fat milk, and whole milk! Tip: they have wifi, a lot of space, and their bathroom is huge(upstairs)

I really love this place. This café has achieved the Western style«stay all day» feel with comfortable seating, laid back staff, outlets near the tables, as well as free(and fast!) wifi. This is my go-to café during the school year to get work done when my school’s library is closed. The staff is so friendly and kind. Coffee here is great, smoothies here are really great, and their orange hot chocolate is particularly amazing. I love that they have cauliflower«rice» dishes — super healthy options for those of us who enjoy fried rice. Their breakfast sandwiches are really good too. This place is perfect for studying, working on a laptop, reading the newspaper, catching up with a friend, or for a healthy meal. What makes this café even better is that it’s located in the same building as the U-Time gym, so you can grab a healthy smoothie on your way home from your workout.

Great little café with a well rounded menu. Super nice but they only take cash or Oyster card. So, I didn’t get to try the smoked salmon sandwich, only the coffee special. But they have almond and coconut milk and are very patient when you change your order and then can’t pay. Yes, sadly, I was that person. Pretty quiet late on a Sat morning with classic hip hop playing in the background. I wish I was a regular and not just a visitor…

Finally get around to writing a review on one of my favorite cafes in SYP. — Great coffee with a selection of milks(soy milk, and they even almond milk which seems to be a latest hipster trend). — Free wifi. Speeds quite good(after all this is HK). Wifi also works outside in the courtyard. — Power at some of the tables, including USB outlets too. — Very spacious(which seems like a luxury in HK) — Outdoor Courtyard. Which is nice in the cooler months. And a lot of people overlook it so it’s a nice quiet work space. — Pet friendly. There’s even a puppachino for the pets. — Good food also. I like the pasta here. — Cheap co-working space upstairs(which may or may not be related). But they use the same bathrooms anyway.

Great Coffee and very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable space. It is tiring to be in HK with only English, so this was a pleasant opportunity to relax and have a quick bite to eat.

Great Little modern café. Excellent coffee! Had a flat white that was delish Service was great too! HAD egg omelette with peppers and cheese. Nothing out of this world but very fast– clean and friendly– didn’t get to see the courtyard — we stopped for a quick bite.

Looking for breakfast before our lunch time flight we trusted in Unilocal and headed to what looked like some hipster café and its was right. Coffee to go or sit in and same for breakfast. I wasn’t looking for anything heavy so I just went for some toast and jam and a apple juice. They had everything on the menu from eggs to full breakfast. Coffees to loads of tea’s! What I would say was the service was a little slow they seem to deal with the takeaway people who came in after us first. The café was also a late night café with adverts for happy hour and live music. Great stop for breakfast if you are in the area!

Fancying a breakfast before we flew out of HK the power of Unilocal brought me to this cool coffee shop, being a sucker for dog friendly places(even when my dog is back in Scotland) I was sold immediately on the pictures and reviews. It’s big inside with plenty of room to pitch up with your lap top and use the free wi fi if that’s your thing. All the décor is wood style and once your in it could be an Urban coffee house in any city in the world. The staff were very friendly to. So no complaints all round. I had a great BLT muffin an apple juice. Both tasted great and came quickly. I would have no hesitations recommending this place for breakfast/brunch or visiting again myself if I was back in HK.

Cute café with an extensive food menu in addition to their drinks(tons of amazing options — flat whites + almond milk is my favorite). Random note: I ran into the founder of Coffee Meets Bagel here!

A SOLIDWORKSPACEFORANYONELOOKINGTOWORKAWAYFROMTHECUBICLEMINE. First time for me and I am already a fan of this place! Great selection of beverages, super friendly staff and delicious post-workout smoothies. As a small business entrepreneur, I am always on the lookout for a place to go that’s comfy and has a work space without feeling rushed or like I was camping. Opendoor is well lit, has great background music, an outdoor courtyard if you’re looking to soak up some vitamin D. They have a great selection of coffees, hot and cold beverages, smoothies with additional supplements, sandwiches, salads and more. I will definitely be returning! Other info: FREE Super fast Wifi(upwards of 60 — 100MB/sec) 24 hour gym(UTime Studios) upstairs and great for post-workout smoothies and snacks.

Best spot in town to get a consistent coffee and with a plethora of non-dairy options. It was the first place in town to offer Almond milk as an option and they’ve even paired it perfectly with oh their delectable hot chocolate options. My favourite has to be the ‘Oh My Jaffa’ which is a rich hot chocolate that has a hint of orange flavour. Yum. The drinks menu also has an extensive smoothie list with many ‘boosters’ such as Kefir, flaxseed, hempseed, chia seed. My personal favourite is the refuel which is banana, mixed berries, mint and dairy. If you’re like me an casein intolerant you can switch the milk out for almond milk. The food menu has expanded since they first opened and i definitely suggest the cauliflower fried rice and ask them to add some of their delicious bacon. The seating is cosy and perfect for those looking to recharge any of their devices. Every seat two power plugs with two usb outlets and of course strong wifi throughout the premise. For those who like to get a bit of fresh air there is also a very cute courtyard in the back with some great graffiti art on the back wall. Pets all of all shapes and sizes are welcome thanks to this outdoor space and pooches seem to thoroughly enjoy the puppy-cinos
