Ngan Lung Restaurant

Stumbled upon this hong kong style restaurant. I will say, the food is not bad! The portions are huge! The ambience was good as it was not too crowded. I love my booth seat. It feels very Hong Kong.
I’ve ordered the dried fried beef hor fun. It’s nice and delicious. The beef slices are tender and tasty. The hor fun has a wok hei taste. Yummy!
The next dish is the braised beef. The taste is nice too. Although it’s a bit stringy and I kept getting the meat stuck in between my teeth.
I also had their French toast. The toast was sliced into 4 cubes which made eating easier. The peanut butter inside was the chunky type. So I can get some bite out of the peanut butter. Other than that, it’s really just normal French toast.
The only negative was the dirty spoon had residual of dried up milk tea stuck to it.

One of my favourite lunch /​tea time local Hong Kong style restaurants. Same as other HK style restaurants, Ngan Lung serves a large variety of local food you can think of e. g fried rice, fried noodles, steak, soup noodles, etc
What makes the restaurant become one of my favourites is the good food quality and reasonable price. And the restauant itself is clean and bright inside. I have been visiting this resturant for many years and become a regular customer. I would like to recommend to those who want to try out HK 茶餐廳, you should try this one. One thing to note, their HK style French toast is really goood.
