Best ramen I’ve had in my life(so far). If this is comparable to the Ippudo NY, then I can’t even imagine the original. As thin as the noodles are, they have so much flavor from the broth. I ordered the first ramen listed on the menu but the one below it(with the egg and extra stuff), normal noodles. So bomb.

For the price, ippudo is one great deal. The dining area is very clean, but gets pretty crowded. The staff was very cordial, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The ramen itself, while not the best ramen I’ve ever had, tasted amazing. I ordered the black ramen special, and was very impressed. The noodles were slightly thicker than normal ramen noodles, which I found more enjoyable as they had a very chewy texture. The beef was very tender and the broth was full of flavor. My only regrets were they added a ton of Brussels sprouts, and the broth was a bit salty. Would definitely come back again.

This shop provides quite a variety of snacks, fired rice and Yakitori. I always stick with their ramen. Usually pretty crowded on weekends, better go there around six. I tried the black curry ramen this time. The soup is soooo thick and rich in curry favor. There’s raw cabbage in the bowl, not sure if they intentionally keep them uncooked. Pork chop tasted normal. I would prefer their signature ramen to this new black curry ramen.

This is a chain originating in Japan and has a branch in New York as well. Service is friendly and prompt, and the ramen is high quality, I love the sesame grinder which allows you to sprinkle ground sesame on top of the noodles. The noodles are Hakata style, thinner than usual. Ippudo regularly updates their menu so every time I visit there’s new menu items. Nice in some way, except that I can no longer taste my favorite wasabi leaves ramen. They also have other dishes besides ramen: appetizers and even rice.
