The hotel is in a brilliant location — in arguably in the best area of Hong Kong, and most definitely the best location within Lan Kwai Fong. The hotel is situated in the heart of LKF, only minutes walk from central, and also very close to Soho — all fantastic parts of the city to experience a mix of night clubs, bars, mayhem, restaurants, pikachu, shopping and markets. The building is quite new, the staff are dressed sharp and there is always someone there to help. The lobby is nice, however it is on the smaller side. There is a gym as well. The location is the primary drawcard. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating in my view is that the rooms weren’t designed too well. There is a small window in the corner of the room, and it was disappointing not having a nice sweeping view of the city, considering we were on the 25th floor. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about this. Either way the region of LKF is best seen by foot on the street. The other issue was the bathroom — it was very pleasing to the eye and quite clean, however the design of the shower was poor, and we managed to get water all throughout the bathroom. The sink is quite loud as well and can easily wake someone up while sleeping. However in saying all this, the rooms were large and roomy, everything is comfortable and there are plenty of elevators. I’d stay here again, for business or for a holiday.

Your mileage may vary. This is my second stay here, first one I would rate 5 stars. This time I got a much smaller room, with no walk-in shower, uncomfortable to get into tub, and much older furniture. I think they give better rooms for multi-day stays. Great location for nightlife scene. Don’t forget to flash your room key to get into upstairs night club(cafeteria in the morning) cover free. Breakfast is still pretty good here. First time I stayed 2 days, and it was an amazing room, brand new everything, drip shower, tub, new furniture etc. YMMV.

I stayed last year 15 days at this hotel. The LKF by Rhombus, is just a 5-minute walk away from MTR Central Station, 2 minutes from Lan Kwai Fong(Hard Rock Café, Ice Bar, Al’s Diner etc). Close to the star ferry and taxis are very quickly obtained in Wyndham street. The noise from LKF party scene outside can be a tad overwhelming so I’d say an upper floor room is a necessary. The hotel is not too big, the rooms are very well furnished. Bedding and bathrooms are exceptional by HK standards and tremendous value. The people are friendly. The breakfast is ok but not spectacular. The restaurant is on the top floor. The food is good and the view is nice view! Wireless lan is not free!!! The room had a Nespresso machine. All in all is this hotel ok. The location is brilliant for party and business people. Enjoy Hong Kong!

Centrally located and a convenient walk to everything(but when is this not the case in HK?), the only issue I had with Hotel LKF was the massive confusion with similarly named«Lan Kwai Fong Hotel.» Just prepare yourself to say«No, no, the one on Wyndham Street. No, 33 Wyndham Street,» and you’ll like this hotel as much as I did. Outside of location, some of the perks of the hotel included the small gym, the complimentary wifi(which normally comes at a premium) the in-room illy espresso machine, the lovely breakfast spread, and of course the spectacular views. Pro tip: both the free breakfast and free wifi were on a booking promotion via LKF’s website, so make sure you book directly for the best perks. Admittedly, the décor in the rooms is a bit dated, and the first room I was in reeked of cigarette smoke, but they moved my room without issue and also gave me an upgrade, so no complaints there! On a potential corporate hotel note — the lobby is small and quite public, so don’t anticipate taking meetings here. That said, there are some really cool restaurants in the same building(Boqueria, Lily & Bloom are worth checking out) that were perfect for meetings(and cocktails) in the afternoons and evenings.
