Love their Oporto Francesinha sandwich with black truffle sauce & slow-cooked roasted suckling pig, with taste & texture well-balanced. Added to that, there’s also live music to serenade your companion~

Surprisingly great brunch deal on Saturday. Rather empty for a weekend brunch, especially when we knew Lily & Bloom and Gold(in the same hotel) would be crowded with brunch lovers. We went for it anyway and couldn’t be happier. $ 250 for a 4 course brunch is SOWORTHYOURDOLLAR. You get a choice of any small plate, soup/salad, main, and dessert from the a la carte menu. We went for a small plate of Jamon Iberico and sautéed clams; a squid salad and bacalhau salad; and peri peri chicken and suckling pig for mains. We honestly felt like we got our money’s worth with the small plates alone! Everything was generously portioned and delicious. The peri peri chicken was probably one of the most tender cuts of chicken I’ve ever had. We were so full but I desperately tried to fit in room for the Portuguese tart with ice cream for dessert. Yum, is all I can say. Also there was a lovely Filipino acoustic singer who serenaded my boyfriend and I. Such a treat. Free flow sangria is also only $ 100 extra. I would definitely recommend this deal to friends.

Didn’t make a reservation and just walked in for lunch on Tuesday. Got a table by the door, which was not great, but okay. $ 180/P for 3 courses of lunch. I picked salted Bacalhau salad, it was fresh but too oily at the bottom, they put a lot of olive oil or whatever oil on it… the Bacalhau is wrapped with dried tomato, the taste was not bad, but just too oily for me. 2nd course was the traditional portguese fish skewer wrapped with bacon. i enjoyed the sauteed veggies on the side, it was tasty, but still a bit too oily. I didn’t, though, enjoy the bacon, as it wasn’t grilled long enough to the point of craspy. 3rd course was the classic portugal layered biscuit. it basically is like a caramel layered cake, which comes with an ice cream ball. the sweetness was okay, the cake was not bad, but not too special. what i like about this restaurant was its atmosphere, the decoration and music. it was really great.
