I really wanted to see what the hype was all about. The tallest building in Hong Kong. Yeah, there should be an amazing view… but is the food good? Ummmm… YES!(Very good, might I add). My SIL made special arrangements with the captain to customize a menu for our special night. Although he wasn’t working the night of our reservation, he made sure his staff knew exactly what was in order. They did. Wow! So impressed. For starters the night view was spectacular. I mean, if you want to see HK at night, THIS is THEE view from 101 floors high(if you’re not afraid of heights, that is). From the delicately assembled«ping poon» to the black truffle mushroom bean curd wrap(OMG, so good) to the perfectly blanched choy to the amazingly flavorful(full of texture) sizzling rice soup(they take it to another level), I had no complaints about the food. Although it was shooting out the kitchen faster than I can eat, we had to tell them a few times to slow it down. The dessert was alright, aside from this date rice cake. Mmmmm… Might I add, the restrooms(last stall) even has a view of Hong Kong. I’m starting to think maybe I should inquire with one of those folks dressed in suits stopping you every few steps, across Elements, en route to the top, what the flats(or maybe apartments) are like. Next trip… ;) Overall, great experience. Will definitely be back. Would love to try their dim sum. My fav is Lei Garden. P. S. On the way up, we ran into Donny Yeh, who was doing a promo/appearance for Hublot. What an amazing night, I’ll say.

Had an outstanding dim sum lunch accompanied by the incredible view from the 101st floor. Lunch was busy, but service was attentive and professional. The head waiter was quite helpful with menu suggestions and brought some extra sauces.

Food was very good, but the service was below average on the night i went. Not sure if the private party had to do with it? Either way, no excuse for a very high end restaurant such as this, especially if you are paying premium price. Went for my birthday dinner with family. 1st time to this place and very impressed by the food. I wish i could have said the same for the service. On many occasion, i had to pour my own wines or to flag down a staff in order to get there attention. Ordered one bottle of wine and brought several of my favorite wines as well. Corkage was HKD100.00 per head, but can be waived if u order one bottle of wine from them. Great view overlooking Victoria harbour and Tsimshatsui Area below. Was fortunate it was a very clear night, as it just rained the day before. Would definitely go again and could only hope i get a better service experience next time around.
