Had the pork rib rice with hot & sour soup lunch combo here today. My two coworkers had the same. $ 75 plus service each, for a delicious & filling lunch in CWB, ain’t too bad.
Normally if I’m out with people and it seems we’ll all order the same thing, I’ll change my order because I like for people to be able to try more things. But one of my co-​workers had eaten here a few times before and said what we were getting was what the place is known for. Also, if seen it on another customer’s table when I walked in and thought it looked great, so I stuck with my choice, and was pleased.
The pork was just right: mostly lean with a little fat, crispy edges, and juicy. Rice was good. I expected egg in it and there was none, but it was tasty nonetheless, with portions of kale and onion. The soup was perfect: slightly spicy, tangy, and thick, with plenty of mushrooms.

Nice little restaurant in Causeway Bay. It is usually crowded and waiting time varies from a few mins to 30 mins. You often have to share a table. May be a foreign experience to foreigners, this is very common practice in the smaller restaurants in Hong Kong. The food is good and inexpensive. We ordered the pork and vegetable rice, won tun noodles and the special Shanghainese deep fried fish.

Best pork rib rice in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Frequent mostly by locals.
Usually long queue during lunch n dinner time. Prepared to wait 20 to 30 minutes. Definitely worth the wait !
Highly recommended.
