The only reason to come here is for the view. The food looked dreadful and took ages to come out. Add to that the toilets stank, was dirty and no toilet roll. If they can’t keep the toilets clean — what’s the state of the kitchen? Not recommended except if you come for a drink only.

Visited Hong Kong from the U.S. for the first time and most of the time we looked for places to eat only when we were hungry. Well, at The Peak, our crew got hungry(and cold) in the late afternoon and looked for the first attractive refuge. In this huge multi-story mall at the Peak we kept riding the escalator until we happened upon Bubba Gump. Can’t be too bad we thought. We decided to wait in line for about 10 minutes and then we were seated. The menu had items you might find at Applebee’s and Red Lobster. Don’t get anything that’s pasta, as logically it could not be prepared authentically in Hong Kong. Of course, the seafood dishes such as fried shrimp or fish and chips that we did order were good. The wait service was all young college age people. Some of them are nice and attentive, some are aloof and rude.

Came here for lunch with my daughter. The restaurant was busy but not full. We were shown to our table however after 20 minutes no one had come to take our order(food or drink) or check on us so we left & had lunch somewhere else.

Best Bubba Gump I have visited. The view is the best. Right at The Peak. Food has not disappointed last two years.

So you’ve come ask the way to Hong Kong to see the sights, meet the people and try the food. Why not stop by Bubba’s and get a decent burger and chips or one of the many shrimp dishes? Burger was good with the onion rings and fries. Try a fizzy drink and keep the glass.

I would never go to Bubba Gump Co at home in Times Square because it is another overpriced restaurant where tourists fall victim to the overpriced food & drinks just because it is in Times Square; however, in Hong Kong when visiting The Peak, it was the perfect opportunity to try it & sit at the bar & gaze out at the view drinking a deliciously cold beer. Our bartender, Jimmy, truly went above & beyond to make sure that we had an awesome time during our visit & that our glasses were never empty. He also gave us a recommendation for a local karaōke spot to go check out, although after a few cab rides & looking at Google Maps, we finally reached the address & it turned out to be a totally different spot altogether. We were a little bummed because the goal was that we wouldn’t leave Asia without me belting out a tune or two but such is life. We drank three beers each during our four hour visit to The Peak & Bubba Gump Co & Jimmy made sure to tell us that if we brought the receipt to the store, we would receive a complimentary glass for each beer that we had. Comically, we lugged that shopping bag with six beer glasses around all night laughing that we probably look like lushes but whatever. What else do you do on vacation but sight see, eat, drink, & be merry? I highly recommend a visit to The Peak & without any reservations I would suggest you stop in at Bubba Gump Co for a beer & a bite to eat & ask for Jimmy at the bar!

Was recommended by several friends but actually just so so. The food’s taste doesn’t worse the price. They even didn’t offer water when we sited down and when we asked for it, the waitress said we should order some drinks. But the view of HK took the bad motion away. Well anyway, in a word, it doesn’t worth the 40 min wait.

We had our team dinner in Bubba Gump and ordered pretty much everything they had on their menu. Great place to have casual fast food in a fancy place like the Peak with a fantastic view over Hong Kong. It would have been better if this place was in a better easy accessible area by eg MTR than in an extremely crowded tourist area like the Hong Kong Peak. I wouldn’t come here just for Bubba Gump.

3 stars for good views and consistency in food. They lost 2 stars for long service times. Been sitting for about 45 minutes now still have not received the two sandwiches we ordered. We sat in the bar and ordered drinks and appetizers and it took less than 10 minutes, so what is the deal? Anyways, I’m writing this as I asked for them to check on our food. Ugh… should have just ate a sandwich next door. Beware…

I’ve been to many Bubba Gump restaurants in my travels, but this was easily the second best location I’ve visited(first is Lahaina, HI). I love the concept of the restaurant and the waiters at Bubba’s are always friendly and charismatic. This location was no exception, the waiter we had was helpful and prompt and asked us trivia questions, which was fun. After being in mainland China for 8 months I was psyched to be eating American food again when we ate here, so I might be biased, but the food we had was amazing. Typically I get a garlic shrimp bucket but this time around I got a burger and fries which was very tasty. The view from this particular Bubba’s is incredible… We had a table looking over the entirety of Hong Kong. It’s unbeatable. I’d visit the location again just for that beautiful view!

For three and a half years, mostly in college, I dated a boy who was really into Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. He was Jewish and tried not to eat pork or shellfish, but would break kosher for Bubba Gump’s Bucket of Boat Trash. We were from different parts of California, and living in the Bay Area, so I’ve been to several locations up and down the state. I hadn’t been to one for almost ten years, my entire Unilocal career and beyond, until my family and I stopped in the location at the end of the Peak Tram. It was a pocket of corporate-friendly middle America, plucked up and planted inside a tourist shopping center in Hong Kong. Everything about the place was cheesy and familiar, steeped in that Forrest Gump theme. I hadn’t thought about this chain in a long time and became impressed with its enormous success – I can’t think of any other business that’s done so well by running with a single thing from a single movie. I took a picture on the bench outside with my feet in a cartoonish replica of Forrest Gump’s shoes. Seemed like the right thing to do as a tourist in Hong Kong? We didn’t actually eat here(would’ve been a tragic choice with just four days in Hong Kong), but we stopped in for a drink so we could take in the views. This was a good choice, it turned out, as we didn’t buy access to the top observation decks of the building. The day wasn’t that clear, but the views were still very impressive. I had a Diet Coke as the cocktail list was full of fruity garbage I didn’t feel like drinking in the middle of the day, but my husband’s margarita was actually not bad. It was so huge, too, that it wasn’t a rip-off like I suspected it would be. We didn’t stay for long, but we enjoyed ourselves. We sat at a table in an empty room coated in wallpaper meant to evoke Forrest’s childhood home. The service was decent, though I think the Run, Forrest, Run/Stop, Forrest, Stop signs placed at each table are just generally confusing. I wouldn’t recommend eating here if you’re a tourist, but it’s a good place to relax and take in an elevated view of Hong Kong.

It was really nice to have a place to get some familiar food, I had never eaten at the Mall of America Bubba Gump but after coming here I will. They also had baby changing tables so that was great. The bartender was really, really friendly.

Best view of Hong Kong but very strange that this casual American touristy restaurant is considered fancy! Its also located in a very touristy location and it’s in a shopping building that is super duper busy! The food is mediocre and nothing outstanding. I also got a Bubba Gump glass with Hong kong embedded on it with my cocktail.
