What a change ! Krogs ’ classic’ fish soup no resemblance to fore bearers. poorly articulated on menu= milky concoction with unknown green oil globs with hunks of oily salmon a hake plopped in. ‘Pigeon’ ‘stuffed was 2 bones salty wi cherry sauce mildly overcooked(?cherries for dessert?) Apéritif, chef’s choice, ginger ale with Cointreau ;wretched congruent with young unprofessional disorganised waiters spilling ice on floor wearing running shoes Main turbot was perfectly cooked, side cabbage raw and oily, sauce which I mercifully left on the side was a salty milky mussel soup with reappearance of the mystery green oil The crowd, an evolution ;happy to see a more ‘inclusive ’ approach: broader swaths of society, including? appearance of perhaps extension of Danish social benefits which help provide other experiences . New management! Style ;without which we strive, not to Bethlehem’s brightest star, but rather slump to the town dump, brothers and sisters to the plastic objects and tin cans

Went there with an offer coupon for lunch and the welcoming was quite«cold». I’m sure I show a disappointment at the waiter’s eyes. But the service was excellent and staff was friendly to us, presenting our dishes and made couple of kind jokes. I guess the expensive wine we ordered helped to that! The food was very good and could understand how good the quality of the ingredients was. I just didn’t like the small items in big plates. At least the quantity was enough to satisfy my appetite! We had the 3 course menu of the day with items off the menu. Cannot remember the exact names, but plate 1 was cold smoked salmon with some cheese, main course was cold rooster pâté with a kind of sauce and my dessert was some ice-cream. All very satisfying. My main issue was my clothing. I felt that I should have put on a suit and tie before I go there. The atmosphere and deco are very formal and made me think that next time I’m there would be after my 40’s!

Went there tonight and was overwhelmed by service, presentation, and taste. We usually go appetizer or desert. We hard the mussels(took three bowls for all the shells) and the fish soup. Main course was fried shake in a caper sauce and the poached turbot with carrots. Very flavorful with unique taste. Also try the Gin bar next door.

Came here at the recommendation of a tour guide. Best«seafood» restaurant in Copenhagen, apparently. Simple décor. good service. Did not feel really luxurious though, just simple and slightly stuffy. Dishes were OK. Not especially flavorful or interesting. Definitely not worth the price. $ 5 per oyster? even with the«denmark premium», that’s expensive. We spent $ 150 on dinner for 2 with a couple of drinks. In my mind, the meal was worth ~$ 80 compared to other seafood meals I’ve had in stockholm, barcelona, boston, san francisco, etc.
