You really can’t visit Canada and not stop into Tim Hortons. Great variety of donuts and they tasted fantastic. Good hot cocoa as well. A great snack any time of day of night!

My new favorite coffee /doughnut shop. Nothing comes close to the variety and taste of coffees and foods at Tim Horton’s.

Came here to get a red velvet cookie for V-day and some tea. Cookie and tea were decent. Good location. I was only here ’cause I had Wendy’s but they had a 2 for 1 going on which got me to get some cookies for my best friend and I.

I’ve been exposed to Tim Hortons during various trips to Seattle and Vancouver, but never been compelled to try them out. I will admit I was curious why some people rave about Tim Hortons coffee so when my husband suggested we go try it out I was in! This location has ample seating and flatscreen tvs. It’s also attached to a Wendy’s. After trying their coffee we now get it. I took a sip and immediately said«It feels like the coffee is hugging me from the inside» I’m not a coffee fan and think Starbucks coffee tastes awful so for me personally I would prefer the Tim Hortons coffee over Starbucks.

Pros: — Free Wifi — Lots of laptop users inside — Wide variety of customers — Spacious with lots of tables and chairs — Friendly staff — Turkey panini was huge and tasty — Frozen lemonade smoothie was tasty and cold, giving me a terrible but short-lived headache Con: — Credit card reader was finicky with my credit card

Dangerous after 1am… open 24 hrs. Home to druggies, most of whom have their heads down on the table passed out. Good place to buy pot, there seems to be a growing trade there. Not safe for single women. Can’t be sure what some of the people in the restaurant are going to do. Police don’t stop by regularly. One person who wasn’t mentally stable started to clean up and rearrange the chairs close to a Japanese woman. Had to watch him to make sure it wasn’t going to lead to an assault.

Location-wise, it’s great, w/parking available, but one of the worst slowest customer services ever, they must be hiring students or something. If it wasn’t for the Wendy’s inside, I’d come here less! but it’s a reliable place to come here esp. late at nights. and if you don’t fighting off the street ppl asking for change when you enter/exit. Nothing against them, just a warning.

Tried the new Beef Lasagna Casserole. Not bad at all. The sauce was a bit too tomato-acidic than I would make it myself, but not as sour as the Ragu cans I remember trying. It’s like a thick sauce with some crinkly noodles in it(like the edges of lasagna noodles), served with a spoon. The cibatta-like bun it came with was nice and squishy and good. The garlic butter was too concentrated in the middle, though. I would have prefered it just as a bun. Maybe because I don’t go at peak lunch times or peak after-school times, I’ve never hated this place like the other reviewers seem to. According to me, it’s one of the better downtown ones. Mastercard accepted, no Visa.

Timmy’s tastes good. Plenty of seating if you’re not here during lunch hour on a weekday. Food wasn’t too fresh, but at 2am you can’t expect much. But it’s a nice quiet place to chat.

The one ‘Timmy’s’ where things are below average. This place is usually, in the middle of the night, loaded with students studying away through till mid-morning. The place is big, shared with a Wendy’s, but it is pretty run down. The lighting in here makes it feel old due to the yellow tinge. But the thing that brings this down a notch is the level of service. The staff at this place are disorganized, where sometimes they are even half asleep and make you repeat your order. The infamous ‘double-double’ is never consistant here, except on the sweet end. The people working behind the till are mostly chatting up with eachother while you putting an order through in their native tongue, and not waiting for you to leave before socializing again. The food quality here is not great, with the sandwiches just being mashed together. Unfortunately, for a ‘Timmy’s’ this one has one of the best locations, right on Alberni, between Bute and Thurlow, so it is very central, and the next location is all the way at Bentall. One other thing, do not park in front where the fire hydrant is, even if your running in to get something fast, as the parking patrol is on full alert here, and even if you dart off in your car, expect the ticket in the mail!

I LOVE Tim Horton’s. Unfortunately this location is not the best My boyfriend ordered a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel with egg, bacon and cheese. The girl working took a while to key in the special request of no cheese and I figured they would finally get it right this time and I wouldn’t have to defend Tim Horton’s to him anymore… they always mess up his orders. Then we sat down and of course his sandwich had cheese on it AND they didn’t cut it in half. My multigrain raspberry muffin was amazing. I feel like muffins are always the way to go here.

I would have McDonald’s for breakfast, lunch, and dinner before I have to come back to this dump again! Praising the food to be A-OK is the best compliment I can give this place because the service was worse than the food. They couldn’t get my order right and it was irritating. Right when I thought my order was put in correctly, it STILL came out wrong. How hard is it to order ONE Ceasar Salad Wrap?! No drink. No donuts. Just a damn freakin’ WRAP! I’m glad I live in California because that means I don’t ever have to come back to this place ever again.

In general, I find Tim Horton’s moderately OK and don’t have cravings for them very often. I find the donuts a bit fake tasting … too processed and overly sweet. Maybe it’s a personal taste thing. I’m only giving it two stars due to the poor service. One person grabbed my donuts while another rung it up. I watched the person grabbing the honey donuts and was literally smashing them(they were sticking together). I feared that my box would contain a pile of donut crumbs but fortunately she spared me. The ones left of the tray were beyond damaged though, total donut carnage. My main gripe with this location is that I waited in a long line and then when I reached the counter to pay the cashier she said that they don’t take credit cards. WTF? I see visa logos all over the place. I wasn’t in the mood to debate it and handed over cash instead. The cashier hit some wrong buttons and erased my order and I could see her contemplating what to do. She chose to open the cash drawer and tried to guess the change I should be given. I should have double checked my change while still at the counter but waited until I left the building … only to discover I was shorted by a loonie. My bad for not checking while at the counter. Maybe it was an off day — I’ll have to try this location again and report back on whether it gets any better.

I may be the only Canadian that doesn’t like T-ho’s…the donuts have shrunk over the years yet the prices go up… the coffee. bleck…next time you have some close your eyes while drinking and think of cat pee… the overwhelming comparison will shock you… the chili bowl is ok at best and the sandwiches are also small and over priced. I had an egg salad the other day and the bread was so hard I actually cut my gums… mmmm. bloody egg salad. This location is ALWAYS super busy and has a slow line up. if you are in a hurry skip it for sure! I think there are WAY better option then a Timmy’s and if saying that makes me a bad Canadian then so be it… bring it on!
