I come here regularly for lunch and coffee. Staff are really nice and they have good food. Yam salad is great. Good sandwiches, soups and wraps. I really like the green eggs and yam wrap.

Absolutely delicious! Everything we get is consistently yummy and addictive. Their Waldorf sandwich is by far the best sandwich you will ever taste, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. Love love love this place!

I love this place. The food is homemade; the green eggs and yam breakfast wrap is probably my favourite. They also have this giant mountain of mac n cheese that looks amazing, but I usually stop in after the gym, so I generally go for a wrap. Can someone go eat the mac n cheese and tell me how it is so I can live vicariously through you? The staff is pretty much the nicest.

The food here uses very fresh ingredients and is all very hearty and healthy seeming, however I can’t help but find everything I order a bit on the bland side. That being said, as coffee shop lunches go the ones here really aren’t so bad. The service on the other hand is wonderful, the ladies behind the counter are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it an ideal spot to stop if you’re just looking for a cup of coffee or tea to start your day off with.

Was here for lunch today. Me and two friends ordered at the same time. They got their meals relatively quickly and mine didn’t arrive until they were almost done. I had a capicollo sandwich, which I can assure you would not be capicollo you would find anywhere on Commercial or at Bosa’s. And, they toasted the sandwich with lettuce in it!!! Which, of course, made the lettuce all whilty and disgusting. Worst lunch I have had in a long time.

Just around the corner from my apartment, I love stopping by for a yummy sandwich and soup. I’m not a fan of their specialty coffees(the lattes always taste more milky than I think they should) but the drip coffee is decent, and they have a good selection of teas.

Not bad. Didn’t blow my socks off, but my sandwich filled the void. I live very close by and I would go back to try their smoothies.

Love that they offer gluten free food and almond milk beverages! Not everyone can drink only milk or soy, they’re awesome!

This place is fabulous, the food is all made there and is delicious! The green eggs and yam wrap is one of my personal favourites. The owner and the girls who work the till are all so sweet and caring, they put a lot of love into what they do. Even though its always pretty busy, their service is excellent and the food comes quickly to you.

Everything in here is homemade. Pretty rad and pretty rare for cafes these days — even local ones. Tasty wraps and sandwiches — with plenty of veggie options. Mac and cheese, tortilla pie, quinoa salad, tortellini salad aaand so on. Oh and the soups. Desserts. A variety of loose teas. Almond milk? Shut the front door. The prices seem reasonable for the amount of food and the fact that it is fresh and homemade. There is also a lot of love running around in here. The woman that runs this show is the sweetest thing. Very friendly and genuine. It’s a pretty tight squeeze but there is usually a space to sit. There are also tables outside now which are perfect in the afternoon. Hello sun.

Their berry Power Shakes are a great deal and tasty too, for $ 5.25 on westside, it’s awesome, except for the parking in the sidestreets. better off on broadway. It’s a casual atmosphere, so one can stay there and read/work for awhile. More real food than a typical Blenz or Starbucks, etc. Lasagna, sandwiches, wraps, soups, pies… everything seems to be home made.

Had a tasty lunch here of Chicken Chili and Sesame Yam Salad served in a relaxed café on side street off broadway in kits. I be back again now that I know this place is good.

Delicious lunch spot. Fresh, homemade soups, salads and sandwiches and the carrot cake is to die for! Lots of flavours and the girls who work here are super friendly. I’d highly recommend stopping in for a light, healthy meal, or the carrot cake(which is far from healthy I’m sure.) :P If I were to say anything bad about the place, I’d say it’s just a bit too small. Maneuvering around tables is always a pain in the ass. I can’t wait for the summer lunches when I can sit outside. :)

Love this place! Great service, delicious food. I admit the coffee is a little weak but in my mind everything else makes up for it. Great place to relax and enjoy the quiet on a gloomy Friday afternoon. The green eggs and yam wrap is my favourite and I love that they let me taste a soup(wild mushroom = delicious and hearty) before buying. Wish I lived in the neighbourhood so I could stop by more often.

hmmmmm… Nice staff — very friendly. So-so coffee. Breakfast wraps are pretty good but get them grilled not just nuked. Overall not bad but could be much better. Definitely better than across the other side of Brdway. Prices are typical Kits(high).

I am on a quest… A quest for carrot cake and while Heart Attck on Vine does make everything in house and the cake itself was moist(cranberries are a nice touch) the icing was lacking. The placement and amount of icing was great(icing mid way though the cake) however it was too sweet. It tastes like it came from a can(not even a cream cheese icing can-more like french vanilla). Not a fan so the quest contiunes… I also had their quiche which was disapointing, It was oily and lacked flavor. I do like the atmosphere and the customer service but the food isn’t worth it.

That is a great little place on Vine and Broadway. I love their red latte. What a great idea for people that do not drink coffee. The pair sandwich is my favourite. I think because they put real ingredients like brie cheese, pear in their sandwiches they have to charge for that.

Food is great but the coffee sucks ! To find a place that can’t make a stong double americano long press is rare. Weak coffee so for those of us who like to taste and savour a good blend… Brown water is something my parents drink. Other than that, a funky layout with great food and +average prices. The flavors exceed a usual coffee shop grilled sandwich and sweets.

I do like this little place– it’s nothing fancy, but it’s the best thing I have close to my work. Nice coffees, teas, baked goods, soups, sandwiches.

Definitely overpriced for what it is. The food is pretty mediocre, and with soggy sandwiches, a half dozen nacho chips and a few carrot sticks setting you back $ 10 or more, you can find better food and better value at other places on Broadway or just a few blocks away on 4th. I really want to be able to give this place higher reviews, because it’s small, local, and you can tell there’s love being put into it, but the food just isn’t quite there. Hopefully they improve and I can change my review.
