Blink Brow Bar

I’ve been here a couple of times since I am often in Vancouver but live in seattle. what I like about this place is that they give you honest advice about your brows and what you can do to achieve your desired look. I wanted my brows threaded and then tinted. they advised against the tinting in my case and suggested filling in my brows instead. I was using the wrong color to fill in my brows. learned some new things and I find that their threading is somehow less painful than at other places.

Firstly, I have to say this place is great, excellent customer service, the place is quite cute and you can tell they are passionate about what they do.
I’ve been to two appointments so far, and I would say my first appointment with Blink brow was just ok. I am not entirely new to the eye brow threading process. I have got them done tons of time before. I don’t remember the name of the lady I initially met with, but I wasn’t all that happy. Mainly because the whole conversation was pushed towards growing my eye brows really thick. I kept saying that I have always had it thin, but she was refusing to listen. I do respect the fact they are experts at this, and believe me they do know what they are doing. My honest feed back is, please try to understand customer needs instead of telling them what’s good for them. Its like going to a hair salon. The hair dresser might have a different vision, than what the customer actually wants. Thick eye brows do not suit everyone. If I were to grow them thick as suggested. It would be like 2 caterpillars on my face :) I didn’t want to rule this place out completely, so I decided to give it another try. I am glad I did.
Second appointment was with Kiran (owner). She was lovely and personable. She did listen to the fact I didn’t want it thick. She showed me exactly where I should grow them out, and guided me well. I bought the eye brow pallet set (which I highly recommend). They didn’t have the pallet I wanted in stock. Kiran so graciously gave me a pallet which costs $ 10 more, and didn’t charge me the difference. She also gave a complimentary soap. I would definitely book all my future appointments with Kiran. She taught me how to use the pallet and how to grow it out until my next appointment.

I went here for my first eyebrow threading experience on the recommendation of a friend, and it left much to be desired. Didn’t catch the name of the woman who did my eyebrows, but she did not listen to me when I told her that my eyebrows grow very unevenly, and that the way she had drawn the shape on would not work as my one eyebrow wouldn’t grow in to fill the spaces she left. She still went ahead and did it the way she thought best (sure don’t listen to the customer who knows her eyebrows best and how they grow), leaving my eyebrows looking weird for the weeks after. I find the pricing a bit expensive to boot, and will not be returning.

This was my first time threading and the person that worked on my eyebrows was friendly and nice. The atmosphere was great as well! However, my eyebrows came out crooked and drawn in a little too thick. Since I was in a rush, I only had a chance to look quickly at them before leaving after re-​applying my makeup. I had mentioned that they looked a little crooked but she just told me to «let it grow» and brushed it a little bit. However, I shaved a bit of the right one off to match the left one and it is slightly better now. I asked the opinions of a few of my friends and they said that they were a little crooked and thick as well. (as you can see in the picture, one is definitely lower than the other). Though the customer service was great, I will probably try Bombay next time to fix the crookedness
UPDATE: The owner Kiran called me shortly after this review and offered to help fix it at my earliest convenience free of charge with the store credit that she gave me. Like I had mentioned earlier, PHENOMENAL customer service! Will definitely recommend from now on.

Went today to get eyebrow & eyelash tinting. It was my very first time, so I was nervous about the outcome. I chose this place due to the great Unilocal reviews and I so happy I did… this place is AWESOME! Besides that it’s good priced, it’s also super cute & clean place with friendly employees. I’m a bit OCD and I have to say this place is super clean. You get text message appointment reminders, which is great! The lady that did my tint was named Deep I think and she was awesome! I have naturally blond eyebrows and wanted them darker, but still natural. She listened (which is super important to me) and gave suggestions, but let me in the end make the choice. She was very gentle, explained everything in detail before doing it and made me feel very comfortable. Best part while waiting she gave me a hand massage. The chairs are super comfortable as well, so it was easy to relax for 10 minutes while waiting for the tint to work its magic. I’m super happy with the outcome and it’s better than I expected! Super natural and just what I wanted. Before leaving she offered water or Chai to go. Definitely going to get it done again in the future and I would recommend this place to everybody!!!
P. s. The eyelash tint was stinging my skin a little bit, but she warned me about that beforehand and my skin around my eyes is anyways super sensitive so it wasn’t something I was worried about

I had very high expectations for this place after reading rave reviews. Upon arriving at my appointment, I didn’t find the receptionist particularly friendly or welcoming. All other clients that came
in were offered chai tea except for myself. I also booked my appointment online with Sim and received a different technician, which is fine, but I would have appreciated if they would have at least notified me that someone else would be doing my brows. My brows turned out nice and my technician was very kind but overall, I wasn’t really wowed by this place. I’m going to stick to my tried-​and-​true Bombay Brow Bar.

Kiran. Get Kiran to do your eyebrows. I found Blink Brow after seeing the rave reviews on Unilocal.I’m never going anywhere else. On the occasions I didn’t love my eyebrows, Kiran refused to let me pay citing their customer’s satisfaction is most important to them (Funny enough I always love them the next day). From the wonderful massage after the threading, to the chai tea, Blink Brow Bar is definitely my eyebrow mecca.

Sim is AMAZING! She has a great sense of beauty and is so skillful. She takes time to arch your eyebrows to absolute perfection. She is very kind and gracious. It is well worth it to come here!

I came to Blink after getting my brows consistently overdone by the ladies on Fraser street and needed full brows for my birthday. I booked with Kiran, and helped me map out my brows with a white pencil and gave me advice on where to grow em out. I love the massage after! There’s also chai tea and chocolate at the waiting area.

Totally recommend! Definitely the best place iv been for threading and tinting. The lady shows you exactly how she’s going to shape your brows and does an amazing job. My services ended with the best brow/​head massage ever! I seriously have never been this relaxed after getting my hair ripped out! This is now my go-​to. Thanks blink!
PS. I wouldn’t recommend coming on your lunch break as the massage does mess up your makeup quite a bit but sooo worth it!

I tried blink again and this time I went for a brow tint with my threading. Ladies, stop filling in your brows everyday and book this service right now! It saves me so much time in the morning and I love the way it looks. The ladies here are so kind plus they give an amazing brow massage which makes you melt into the chair. I will continue to book here and I suggest you do to!

Came here once & I’ve always came back! I love this place. They always make my eyebrows perfect… & the small massage at the end is so amazing! Haha. I’ve always gone to places where they made my eyebrows too thin or uneven but this place just keeps mine in shape and I love it. Definitely recommended.

I made an appointment online and was excited to try Blink Brow Bar out. Very relaxed environment and the staff are amazing! I can’t remember her name who threaded my brows but she was great! She made me laugh a few times too. Very professional, I definitely will be returning to have my eyebrows threaded. Love this place!

Got my eyebrows tinted for the first time. I only wanted a slight darkening, to reverse the bleaching effects of the summer sun.
I was really apprehensive, but Abby at the front desk was reassuring, and Pam, who did the job, was gentle. I am happy with the results. So far, no one has recognized the change, which is just what I asked for. I hope this is an indication of my eyebrows still looking ‘natural’.
There was no pressure for me to do shaping, or even trimming.
A fine place. If I ever tell my friends what I have done, I will be recommending this place.

Friendly staff, I don’t remember the lady’s name but she was understanding and kind to a threading virgin. Next time I will know not to tweeze for at least a week. Great store hours and easy online booking. Chai tea is always offered and chocolates are laid out. They have AC too! Important especially during this hot streak we have been having.

If only i had found out about Blink Brow Bar when i first moved to Vancouver — and not right before i decided to move again.
I have been there twice now (second time, couldn’t wait to go back again!) for a tint and threading of my brows. service is amazing, they fit you in right away and have wonderful customer service. I went to 2 different people and my experience with both was perfect. A wonderful hand massage while my brows were tinting and then a face massage with rose gel after the threading. Also, full consultation prior to doing threading and during the process to make sure they were the shape i liked. Their attention to detail is superb — do yourself a favour and get your brows done here!
i cannot stress enough that my brows have never looked better! I am going to miss this place.

I went to Blink for the first time this past weekend and was very impressed. I made an appointment through their website early that morning and was able to go in the same day. The studio is bright and airey despite being on the small side. I was offered a hot teacup of chai while I waited. Kiran generously offered me a 10% discount as I had to wait a measly 10 – 15 minutes past my scheduled time. Amazing customer service!
Yes, the cost is pricey compared to my old cheapie threading place for $ 6, but this place is truly like a spa experience for your eyebrows. The ladies at Blink take the time to do a short consultation prior to threading. After that, I got a heavenly brow massage with rose gel and complimentary brow makeup done to fill in my newly sculpted brows. I was also offered a to-​go cup of that delicious chai on my way out!
I highly recommend giving Blink a try!

I found this gem through Unilocal and Google in search of the best eyebrow threading since it was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded, let alone, done outside of home. Its more on the expensive side for eyebrow threading; $ 21 not including tax. But, I wanted my first time to be the a good one. After browsing around on Blink Brow Bars website a little more, they had a link for online booking which I quickly signed myself up for.
The reviews do not lie, Blink Brow Bar is great! I dropped in 15 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment and was quickly seated. It wasnt too busy for a rainy Thursday which was nice. I never caught the name of my technician but she was lovely.
My eyebrow hairs are quite sparce since in my past I had a phase where I shaved almost all my eyebrows off and drew them in, but after that, I ended up plucking FAR too much though which resulted in weird shapes. My technician was straight up about it when she noticed which I really admired because I seriously hate when people try to sugar-​coat things. We chatted a bit, but nothing too lasting which I don’t mind at all since I’m not much of a talkative person.
After all had been done, it turned out fantastic! All the right hairs were pulled off and the ones remaining were trimmed perfectly. She suggested brow tinting to me a few times which I will definitely consider for $ 19? I believe. It didn’t stop there though, I got a nice eyebrow and temple massage with some sort of gel formula which came with 3 different types to choose from; aloe vera, 2 types of rose one light, one dark. My technician also insisted on filling in my eyebrows before I left with Blink Brow Bars eyebrow pallette which was great!
They offer complementary chai tea and have a small plate of bite-​sized chocolate on the receptionist desk.
As of the moment, it’s a little too pricey for me but I will definitely return when I feel like spoiling myself.

This is seriously the best place for all your threading needs! Whenever I come here, it’s always to get everything done in one go — my brows, upper lip and the sides of my face (I was cursed with excessive lady-​beard genes). Whether you get Kiran the owner or any one of the other ladies, they all do such an amazing job and are so precise! Doesn’t hurt that the service is friendly as well.
The ladies take the time to map out how your brows are naturally shaped and are very knowledgeable in helping find the best shape that frames your face. The super relaxing massage they do after threading is such a treat. They finish with a bit of eyebrow makeup which is just icing on the cake. After your experience, you will seriously look and feel like royalty.
I’d definitely recommend a brow/​lash tint too — they don’t go overboard with the dye and make you look like you have muppet brows. Bonus!
