Elemental Canine was started to provide all our companion animals with access to the most natural, healthiest food and honest nutritional advice. Coming from a background of both the world of Veterinary medicine and the one of alternative health options, we are able to combine the best of both worlds. Real food far exceeds any commercially prepared food in digestibility, palatability and offers the owner the control over what their beloved pet eats.

We believe raw can be the best diet for most dogs and many cats. We carry locally made as well hand picked Canadian products, ensuring we have something for all your raw feeding needs.

We have also searched high and low to carry only the best accessories. We wanted to ensure we have things no else in our area does and at great prices. We are not like every other pet boutique.

History

Established in 2009.

Elemental Canine was started to fill a void in the industry with knowledgeable staff who are able to tailor food to your pets needs.

Opened in November 2009, Elemental Canine has quickly established it self in the community as a place to go for answers regarding pet nutrition and raw feeding.

Meet the Business Owner

Lisa R.

Business Owner

Lisa comes from a background of veterinary Assistance for over 6 years. Continuing her education in pet nutrition and health, and the addition of her dog Tima, she found a need to explore options outside traditional medicine.

Tima had severe food allergies and intolerances, and after 21 kibble trials as well as a vet designed home-​cooked trial, Lisa discovered Raw.

This was Timas saviour. Her issues soon resolved, and she blossomed.

This become Lisa’s passion.

After gaining experience as the Manager of a well-​known dog boutique, Lisa decided to combine all her skills, and open Elemental Canine.

Her unique balance of real health knowledge, nutritional requirements for pets, and a computer program to ensure everything is complete, has finally brought her true happiness.

She looks forward to meeting you and your companion animals!
