History

Established in 1984.

Newmac Animal Feed was originally established as Newmac Lumber (named for New McLellan Road). In 1984, Newmac broke into the feed business and started shaping into the business it is today. Newmac is family owned and operated, and has seen four generations of the family work there!

Newmac is currently owned in part by Vern Paterson, as well as his three children Rob, Jeff, and Deanna, who currently run the business. Jeff’s son, Lucas, and Rob’s daughter, Rochelle have also been working for Newmac for a number of years.
