For my hot pot needs, as I’ve used this place a few times during my meal needs, I have to give this place the thumbs up. You would think finding meat is easy for your around the pot, hot pot needs, I mean it’s raw… yeah. finding meat is not a problem, finding good meat, that takes some work! This meat shop is located within Izumi-Ya market, once you walk in, if you know the place, it’s right beside the chocolate shop. I never see a soul stand in front, and I’m actually good with that, so I can take my time and look at the meats and see what I want to buy without saying ‘excuse me’ to some other patron who is in my way. In and out in a hurry, yeah, you’ll get that here. The meats here are really good, some vibrant reds, some good marbling, and the prices I find are a lot better than getting into a brutal lots of the other supermarkets in the area. By the time you park at another place and fight through the swarms of people, you’ve just exhausted yourself, there is none of that here, and I am not complaining. You don’t get the packaged overly frozen stuff like over at T&T where you wonder. how long has this survived the ice age, but if you want that stuff, they have it on the cheap in their little freezer section on the left side. They also take card, so if you’re running low on cash, but have some plastic… no worries! The guy that always helps me there has always been very helpful and I would recommend this place, just don’t take my pack of meat please. Just waiting for the next time to do hot pot now!

This place isn’t busy and it should be busier. With the intro of the H mart that opened up, everyone seems to have flocked over there to get their Hot pot meats and bulgolgis. This location, you don’t have to fight for parking. You don’t have to jump over each other to get your stuff and then fight to get out of parking and there is a great little Japanese market just next door and on the other side is a wonderful chocolaterie! We bought our Japanese food and then bought our Shabu Shabu meats for our Nabe. The meats here are of good qualtiy and nice cuts. There is alot of competition, yes, but for ease and convenience, I prefer this place than those crazy busy parking challenged malls. It’s all about less stress for me. Although some people prefer to fight the traffic and yell at people who can’t park their car if their life depended on it. :) is all I feel when I come here.
