Horrible spa wants extra money for everything low class nail salon … very rude staff and dirty workplace was scared to get a pedicure there before I got fungus

Hit or miss. I find some of the staff friendly and some rude. just like anywhere with people from a different culture they may come across as rude or curt, use to it by now… Have to ask for the right person to get a good mani, most all of them do a good pedi, i unfortunately only know faces not names. Despite the hit or miss in some areas of quality regarding polish application(have to get the right girl) and attitude my acrylics last FOREVER(no lifting, cracking) and are usually shaped quite nicely(they spend the time), if i want something to be done better i just ask. Mediocre nail designs. Passable polish selection, i only get a couple different colours so not a big deal for me. Hygiene standards can be improved, make a point to ask for brand new disposable tools or they will try to get away with reusing. The key is to ASK for things you want. Still rather make the trip here than most other places.

Cheap quality nail polish needed more than 45 minutes to dry. Got ruined on my way home. Shellac colour was translucent on my nails. Will never return.

There’s a reason why I don’t get my nails done in 905 areas. Service is pretty much half star — the owner is borderline rude, I saw clients putting finishing touches on their own nails while staff sat and chatted with each other. I’ve never seen a nail place dirtier than this. Floor is filthy and no one bothering to clean down the pedi basin after people left. Cuticle clippers used and put back in drawer! I walked in and didn’t get my nails done but my friend did. Will post updates if her shellac lasts or if she develops any planters warts :/

went there this week and a lady removed my cuticles amazingly rough and scraped up the bottom of my mother’s feet like crazy. the next day we were both in pain and I woke up to see my cuticles bleeding and blood on my bedsheets. also, the woman who did my feet then went to do someone’s eyebrows without using soap on her hands while washing them after just touching my feet. would not recommend. 30 bucks is a lot for a crappy paint job and bloody feet.

See. I really wanted to love this place… They do good work, don’t get me wrong. I’ve been there twice and I loved my nails both times. First downside. Service isn’t that friendly. you feel like they’re just trying to get people in and out as quickly as possible… And I’m not in to that at all… Second, they up sell like CRAZY!!! EVERYTHING is an EXTRA. Acrylic set -$ 32(? Could be off by a couple $) Length– extra $ 5(my nails aren’t even very long) Shaping them oval– extra $ 5 French Manicure — extra $ 5 I know things like French manicure are generally an extra. Thatt I understand… But you want to charge me $ 5 extra to buff the sides of my nails a little so that they’re not boxy?! Ridiculous… I get my nails done every 3 weeks, and generally downtown Toronto, where the prices are much higher… But the salons and service are much nicer as well. And they are UPFRONT about their pricing… This place is trying to be something that they are not. They are not an upscale nail salon by any means. And try to charge you for every little thing… If I wanted to pay those prices I would go to a more plush salon… Not a great experience. I do not like feeling like I am being ripped off… So I won’t be bringing any family here. I’ll only be back here If I am desperate… And it’s too bad, because they actually do really great nails.

I enjoyed coming here after my horrific experience a few weeks. The salon opened at 9:30 and I got there close to 10am. There were already a few women getting pedicures and manicures, and I was helped right away. I needed UV Gel Nail fill and the girl who did my nails was quick and most importantly, listened. I told her I wanted rounded tips and she instantly nodded and got the electric filer and shaped them the way I wanted to. When she was filing she also used another technique so that she could see if they were even not just from her angle but from mine as well. It was affordable, clean and a quick experience. I’m definitely going back!
