Keri always takes great care of me! Everyone is friendly, and welcoming. I’m always happy with my service and the prices are very good!

I’ve been to this place a few times already and now after several mediocre pedi’s and mani’s I’ve decided to not go back. Here is why:
–last time I was there, one of the staff was busy making dumplings (she was actually spreading out the wrappers and bent over a large bowl of filling!) at one of the nail stations. YUCK! and is this not a public health issue?
–Paid extra for a shellac manicure that is supposed to last for at least 5 – 7 days, went back after it chipped the very next day and they wanted to charge me to re-​do
–The cleanliness of the place is hit or miss. 1^st time I visited it was ok, second and third time I noticed that things may not be sanitized properly, especially the nail clippers, bottles used to hold the lotions and the towels.

I didn’t have a particularly good experience here. The staff is friendly enough but I really question the cleanliness of this place.
I arrived a little early for my pedicure but was taken right away. The nail polish colour selection is mediocre at best but I found something I liked and was led to my chair. The tub was already filled with water but since I was the only person having a pedicure, I was able to see the condition of the other tubs. They all looked like they could use a good scrubbing! Needless to say, I was not impressed.
My technician, although really nice, was more interested in watching the television than working on my feet and would frequently pause during filing and massaging to watch it and talk with the other employees. I had to repeatedly ask her to trim my nails shorter because she wasn’t paying attention to what she was doing.
As she applied various lotions and potions to my toes, feet and legs, the excess was left to drip all over the floor as she placed the squeeze bottles back in her trolley. I just found the lack of care and cleanliness incredible. I was definitely NOT impressed when I was asked to put my bare feet directly on the foot rest of the pedicure chair without a towel underneath them!
This salon is nothing like the newer ‘high-​tech’ ones with their fancy UV drying systems… they had me sit back at the front of the store with a little fan pointed at my toes… sure it does the job but it lacks that ‘je né sais quoi’, if you know what I mean.
When my toes were dry, they removed the little salon slippers and put them in a basket with a stack of others… please tell me they are thrown out and NOT recycled!!!
Once I got home and was able to look more closely at the pedicure itself, I wasn’t pleased. There are areas where you can see the brush strokes and where she missed doing a second coat.
In my opinion, this salon is rundown and could do with a good cleaning and perhaps a fresh set of towels. I’m giving them 2-​stars only because the staff was really friendly but I know I won’t be back.

this is a great little shop with just a wonderfull team of folks who provide a very good service. I am having a pedicure now as I type and its fantastic. If you want a great mani and pedi for a very reasonable price then give them a try

I’ve been to this salon a number of times as it’s right near my home in Pickering. This nail salon is located in the Whites Road plaza right beside the new Rexall.
I came here on a Thursday afternoon and was taken right away. I was pretty pleased with my pedicure experience. They spent a lot of time on my cuticles and even more time on the rough bottoms of my feet. All in it took about an hour but my feet are in great shape. The girl who did my pedi was very nice, not too talkative but pleasant nonetheless. She was happy to do the designs on my toes and they look really cute.
The one thing about this place is that they could do a better job keeping the surrounding areas cleaner. The tub was freshly clean for my feet but the tables needed a good dusting and behind the counter is a mess (which you can see when you walk by) with all sorts of personal stuff, like bags and purses.
Overall, very pleased with my experience. I’ll be back again; service is good, they always have something good on TV to watch while you’re having your nails done and it’s very close to my home. Great detail spent on my feet which makes the price worth it.
My pedi cost $ 35 with tip which is pretty good but in future I’d get the combo mani/​pedi which is better value. By the way, they do offer shellac at this location, as well as waxing services.
