I must admit I saved my Birthday reward to get a Cappuccino. It was warm and frothy and quite excellent. Just what I needed this morning.

Really liked this place! It’s big but cozy. Ima coffeee snob and I really liked my soy lattes. I had a Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich warmed up and it was delish. Will come again!

I always love coming to Bridgehead when I’m home. The coffee is consistently good! I believe everything they serve is fairtrade. They also have an assortment of great teas and snacks. Good atmosphere, great place to study or work, or just to grab a coffee on the go.

I love my chai. Bridgehead never ceases to make a good chai latté that warms me right up. Gladly came back home from a trip that had some altercations but otherwise my day has been made better. Thank you guys for lending me your pen and directing me to the right corner so I could charge up(my dead phone and dying laptop– greyhound is notorious for half dead outlets on the busses) Coming from a barista– you’ll never likely have a hit or miss here, just ask the staff– they’re gentle and helpful: P

I love their ethical stance on coffee and tea. I am not a coffee drinker but many people in my family are and they claim Bridgehead is the go to place for their cup of Java. On the other hand I love their lemon balm tea. Excellent flavour and always very fresh. They also provide real honey! A huge bonus. Their free flavoured water is a good addition on a hot summer day. My only wish is that they provided snacks and deserts that are raw and sugar-free. There are so many paleo style recipes out there it would be great if they could provided us grain, diary & sugar-free folks an option.

Delicious coffee and vegetarian sandwiches. Love the choice of organic milk to add to drinks. The downfall to the location is the noise of the bean roasters when they are in operation. Mind you, it is a «roastery» lol. Great place to bring children who are interested in large machinery.

This is now my new favourite Bridgehead in the city — well, until I find another one that equally blows my mind. For now though, this is my Bridgehead of choice. I’ve mentioned in reviews of their other locations that the customer service isn’t always the best, and some of the staff I’ve interacted with have been a bit irritated with life. Not the case at this location! The service here was very polite, friendly and informative. The location is really one of the best for people watching downtown. Located right at the corner of Bank and Albert it’s a hub of activity and the huge windows fill the place with beautiful light. There’s a ton of seating here which is nice — there are booths and tables and plenty of chairs. I ordered an iced hazelnut coffee and it was delicious! People were constantly moving through the doors — this place is busy! Bridgehead recently announced they’re going to start selling alcohol in their shops, so that will certainly add an interesting dynamic to the atmosphere here since there’s a whole host of characters that spend their time here. They also introduced a carbonated bottled coffee drink(which I might try just for the experience), so they’re definitely always looking to keep things fresh which I appreciate. As at all their locations, the coffee is free trade and shade grown, so you can feel good about what you’re drinking!

One of the best atmospheres to have a coffee/breakfast/snack in ottawa. Products are delicious, coffee is excellent.

Damn good coffee, definitely better than Starbucks but not as good as the small batch, indie coffee roaster swag I’ve grown accustomed to. I had a red-eye which allowed me to try both the coffee and espresso. Neither had the endemic«Starbucks Burn» taste to them and were pretty mild for being dark roasts. A must try if you don’t want Starbucks or Tim Horton’s; hell I’m going back tomorrow pre-brekkie!

In the heart of downtown Ottawa, there exists a HUGE coffee shop that serves fair trade coffee and pretty decent lattes. The space is huge, with huge ceilings/windows, and is usually populated by business people. There is a lot of seating, but since it’s so close to so many office towers, usually it’s hard to get one. Bonus: This location is at Bank and Albert streets, so buses from almost anywhere pass by i.e. hop off, grab a cup and keep going! Or, if you’re meeting someone it’s very convenient to get to.
