This starbucks is located on the corner of metcalfe and slater. It was renovated last year and it’s quite functional now. Service is sometimes a little slow, but I’ve seen worse and better at other locations. Overall, happy with this location and if I’m in the area, I usually stop in for a quick coffee.

Service and ambiance top notch. Had a cold brew to try out. So of course no sweetener, no ice, and no cream. Wow, terrible. Still the same cringing over roasted beans. I’ll keep cold brewing my own. It’s gotta be just me, much prefer a light roast, with smoother finish.

Same as every other Starbucks but tends to be very busy during peak hours due to its downtown location. Very convenient if you want to hop on or off the bus if heading to the east end. I have found this location always seems to have pumpkin spice latte mix leftover from the fall so you can still order into winter. I am also a big fan of the everything bagel, but they only give you one cream cheese packet which covers about half and they will charge you for an extra one :(

This is my favorite Starbucks location in Ottawa! The staff here are the best! They are friendly, efficient, funny and a pleasure to greet each morning for my coffee. The one occasion they messed up my order they made it right the next time and gave me both drinks. You know you are going to get great coffee at Starbucks –but is it going to be quick and done right? This location has it all. If there is a long line no worries-it moves quickly. They even have a stack of board games for when you come to hang out. Love it! See you in the am.

Recently visited the newly renovated Starbucks on the corner of Metcalfe and Slater. I’ve always been a fan of this location as I was an avid customer when I was a student at the University of Ottawa(before they got their own Starbucks a few years ago) and it’s near OC Transpo transit and the many government buildings nearby. I have to say it wasn’t the best spot to sit and have coffee as they had limited seating and the set-up is not condusive to staying a while. However, their store was closed last week as they were undergoing renovations and re-opened for business this week. I was there around 7am before I start my work day. The renovations look great! They changed the set-up for their line up so that the main entrance isn’t crammed with people waiting, and it appears they have re-arranged the seating if not added additional tables. Their staff always seems to warm and friendly and at 7am they were still eager to serve and great me with a smile. The skinny cinnamon dolce latte was made to perfection(I feel I’m a good judge as I’ve previously been a Starbucks barista). This Starbucks knows how to satisfy their coffee-craving crowd.

This Starbucks is pretty darn swell. I know that when one thinks of Starbucks, you think of them as being all the same. Well, let me tell you about this particular establishment. The staff are outstanding, they are always polite and always willing to take a few moments to answer any questions that you might have. Whether it be about a hot beverage or a food item, they are always glad to be of help. I have to also applaud their cleanliness, this Starbucks is always super clean and well stocked(I have yet to see an empty milk or cream jug), and their sugar and toppings jars are always full. I can definitely count myself as a loyal customer to this establishment, thank you for giving me a little bit of joy and happiness in a coffee cup to look forward to almost everyday!

This Starbucks was friendly and the dudes behind the counter helped me with directions. I was so happy to find it, since with all of the hype over Timmy’s out here, my fear was that I’d be stuck going there for my coffee.(Not a fan. Do not understand the appeal. But I digress.) Of course, there was a Timmy’s one block over, but I was able to get my coffee here.(Phew). Thank you, SB. You did not let me down.
