We arrived in plenty of time for the lunch buffet, however they had already started shutting it down and wouldn’t let us go for it — even though the person who seated us told us that we had plenty of time for the lunch buffet. We had to order from the AYCE menus on the table, which took longer than we expected to get lunch. However, the food we ordered was delicious: the sushi was fresh and crisp, the chicken wings, chicken balls, fried chicken, shrimp and crab tempura, and other food was all great. Some items on the menu were not available since it was«past lunch» even though we wouldn’t be ordering from the menu if they had kept the lunch buffet running on time! At $ 22 for a lunch and drink, this is a pretty expensive lunch option, especially with a limited menu. However the food was delicious.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by this place. The outside looks questionable and the décor is meh but honestly the food quality was pretty good! They had a decent menu and really good sashimi as I recall. If I’m remembering the location correctly, its right under a KTV so perfect place to chill for weekend night with friends: sushi + KTV. Price is pretty standard.

I have tried a number of places to quench my sushi cravings down town, but keep coming back here. I normally get take out, so I can’t really comment on the atmosphere or table service, but the sushi is fabulous. Hundreds of options, from authentic Japanese to Western styles. What I love is that the food is just that — FOOD — not art, so it resembles the more traditional concept of sushi as a fast-food item in Japan. Prices are very good(so long as you remember this is not a West coast city). I never have to wait too long for my order(5 – 10 minutes, usually closer to 5). The staff are courteous and quick — they take my order ASAP. And best of all the sushi is consistently good, I’ve never had it be bad one day, then good the next — always yummy!

Me and my buddy went here for dinner today and man what a surprise. This place was amazing in every regard. The service was friendly, the draft sake was good, the atmosphere was pleasant and the food was incredible. The sushi was amazing. For an AYCE sushi restaurant it was superb. The sushi was presented well and tasted even better than it looked. All the fish was flavorful and the rice was just right. The sushi chef knows what he is doing but so do all the other back chefs. Everything we ordered whether it be sushi, calamari, maki, lamb or bacon wrapped crab meat skewers(Yes they’re a thing and yes you should order them) was made well. Best AYCE sushi restaurant I’ve been to yet and I hope to go again soon.

I tried this sushi place with my sisters and friends last Friday night. I was honestly disappointed! I feel like I did not eat for my money. Orders took forever and I did not get some of the food I requested. They had forgotten my dessert(mango ice cream) and when I mentioned it to the server, she brought it to me in a dirty dish. I had given up at this point. I was ready to leave. I was still hungry when I left. The only upside is the location because it’s bus accessible. My crew and I won’t be coming to this location again.

Delicious Chinese food and fresh sushi. The place is quite clean and the orders came quickly

This is not your typical AYCE sushi restaurant and the menu changes depending on what time of the day you go. Lunch rush hour they have a mixed approach that includes a serve yourself Chinese food buffet(quantity not quality) and a very limited selection of sushi and maki rolls on the menu. Quality of sushi is not the greatest considering the other AYCE restaurants, I would say this is quite lower quality. The ambiance is also not nice. The place is dark and very noisy. Service is OK. Although they do not serve fountain drinks all the time as the machine seems to be always broken. For God sake can’t they fix it ??? I think this can definitively be a much healthier choice compared to Mac Donalds or other fast food but not quite the sushi experience that you would expect in a downtown location…

Wow 12.99 lunch buffet plus sushi a la carte. Came in at 1pm and was told last call for buffet was at 130. That was ok. The food was very good for the price. A good choice for the sushi only negative was that the buffet section was not stock and only had a chance to have a bit of it. Even if i was in 30 min before. But overall was very good and I will be back. Make sure you get here in time but no worry. If you get here at 130 they have a bigger all u can eat menu(no buffet– but almost everything i had a the buffet is there) for 14.99.

Perfectly decent downtown sushi. I ordered off the menu, so I can’t comment on the all-you-can-eat. But the menu items were good, and the prices reasonable. The two of us spent $ 40 for dinner, incl tax and tip, and we were completely stuffed.
