Terrible service. No, let me revise that… NOSERVICE! We arrived early(my sister and I) on a Friday night. We were one of the first to get there and sat one row behind the stage. We would’ve been kind of hard to miss considering we were the only two people sitting near the stage at the head of a table that seats about ten people. The waitress acted as if we were ghosts – completely nonexistent. Then about eight people came in and sat at the table next to ours and voial! The waitress appeared and was happy to take drink orders. WTF is that? My sister suggested it’s because she’d make more of a tip serving 8 than 2. Maybe… maybe not. But I’ve never experienced being completely ignored at a comedy venue. Usually, waitresses have to wait on their assigned tables, not pick and choose which customers they’ll serve. Anyway, it was pretty distracting to see her go back and forth all night and COMPLETELY ignore us… and me, having to schlep my way to the bar. So… if there are only two of you in your party, prepare to have to get up and go to the bar for your own drinks. No service for you at Yuk Yuk’s! As for the comedy, the MC, Richard Ryder was okay, the opening act, Bobby Knauff was not my cup of tea but others seemed to enjoy him. The main act, Patrick Haye, is an incredible undiscovered talent. You don’t know his name now but you will. He’s bursting with comedic and musical talent. I’d give Yuk Yuk’s one star, but thanks to Patrick, I’ll give them 2.
