Scam place. The massage was okay except: They tell you they have RMTs and that you will get an insurance receipt. However they don’t actually give you the receipt. And then you keep asking about it, they don’t respond to emails, and they respond like this: «Good morning Unfortunately your massages were preformed by spa therapists. The Simply Us package is two relaxation massages and not stress relief massages(RMT) I do apologize that no one has returned your previous emails — I will definitely look into this to see why your email was not answered previous to this. Please call me directly if you have any questions — thank you for your patience and again I do apologize for this inconvenience. Diana Venturini Spa Director 905.374.4555 ext 4555» This is after we confirmed that we would get the receipts for our insurance. So basically we wasted the money that we were supposed to get back. And they lied to us. Why would they tell us it was covered and then, later on, tell us it’s not? They told us they were RMTs and they actually weren’t??? Suspicious… And the parking. Seriously, $ 25 parking? That does not seem fair. Honestly it just seems like we were ripped off. The massage was decent but I would NOT recommend this place as they are unprofessional.

Okay, so my experience of the spa is not as bad as Linda M’s! In fact, I am pleased to say that I had a great time here and what made it more special was that my bf had surprised me with a Couples Massage and HydraTherapy Pool experience. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a friendly hostess. We were then led to our change rooms and because it wasn’t busy, I had the whole room to myself. There are lockers and keys. I noticed there was a sauna, shower room, and one toilet(so hence, if it is busy, beware). Also, I noticed that there were sample-sized shampoos, soaps, conditioners, and bottles of water for you to use — complimentary! This is great if you are not staying at this hotel, but want to change, you do not have to bring toiletries. Once my bf and I were out of the change room, we were led to seats which had a great and expansive window view of the falls. I just sat there mesmerized. There was tranquil spa music and I dozed off… soon to be awakened by our massage therapists. My masseuse was AMAZING! She kneaded all my sore spots(on my back) and did not talk. She went right into the massage session. We also had our feet wrapped in wax(and then put in a plastic bag)…that I could have done without… nothing special. After the massage, my bf and I went into a room with one tub that overlooked the falls again. The lady explained that this tub did not have very strong bubbles, but more«Champagne Bubbles.» She also said that our tub session would last for 25 minutes, but we could stay longer if we wanted. Finally, she said that we could lock the door from the inside… I am not sure how clean that tub is, but I know for a fact that most couples … We were also given a little snack which was welcome after the massage. Total damage for this package was $ 290 including tax and tip. FYI — You can book RMT or non-RMT massage therapists, which will obviously affect the price. Second, my bf thought that the hydrotherapy pool was included in the couple massage package, but it was actually an extra $ 40. Read carefully, because in my opinion, sitting in a cramped tub is something I can do without. Definitely will return I also took advantage of taking some extra bottles of water and shampoo from the change room(make every dollar count!!!)

I stayed at Sheraton on the Falls Hotel & wanted to spend the day with my girlfriends at the spa. On the 14th floor is this Spa, however, they are a separate company & definitely do not operate the way the hotel does. I went for a massage, a body treatment scrub, manicure, pedicure & so did my friends. The Spa is poorly ran & very unprofessional. It’s a very small space with 1 available shower(with dirty shower heads & tiled floor filled with grime), they are late to start your appointment & don’t compensate for lost time. If you are going for a 1 hour massage, you will only actually get a 35 minute massage even though you paid for the full hour. They don’t offer water, or tea or coffee, although they had the machines on a counter, they weren’t plugged in or turned on. The Director Kimberley was extremely unprofessional. She said to her staff in front of 5 clients in the waiting room«housekeeping hasn’t been here in 2 weeks but ladies [staff] it’s your job to clean the area once you are finished with it, if you didn’t know that now you do». Everyone in the room looked disgusted & freaked out. Kimberley then offered tea to one of the ladies, and then disappeared & the lady never got her tea. Throughout the entire experience I could hear Kimberley yelling at staff & being overall a negative and aggressive energy when I’m trying to relax. The massage was OK — they massage therapist talked during most of my massage which wasn’t relaxing and turned on the bright lights because she couldnt see what she was doing which was ridiculous. I asked my friends how their massages were & they all said the exact same thing, we all left pretty unhappy. 2 other ladies who were leaving seemed frustrated &1 wanted her money back. Overall, unprofessional, not clean, no accommodations, you pay for 1 hour & get only 35 minutes. A total rip off. Don’t bother giving this place money, you will leave upset.
