Quality Inn

I’ve been here 3 times now. The first 2 were alright, nothing amazing but not bad. This past weekend though, myself and some friends went and it was horrible. First off, we had to wait over a hour for our room once we checked in. The sign in the lobby says you can check in at 3 but we didn’t get in untill past 4. Then there’s the problem that was our room. Our dresser was missing parts, our chair was broken, there where bugs, outlets didn’t work, and they forgot to give us a fridge. Another huge issue I had was with the lady working the front desk. She was very rude and insulting. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this hotel ever again.

Stayed here for Valentine’s weekend and had a great experience. Rooms were very clean, though the air conditioners/​heaters could use some maintenance. Very nice continental breakfast, and very close to all the attractions (can park here and walk almost everywhere). Staff was amazing — they had no problem getting us checked in, supplying us with forgotten items, or calling taxis if needed. They also went above and beyond to help my boyfriend set up a special proposal :) Would definitely stay here next time we’re in Niagara.

I stayed here for 3 weekend nights over MLK weekend with my wife. We had come up as a part of a group of 7 couples each of which got our own room. My wife and I arrived shortly after 9:30 and had a quick and easy check in. We were informed that parking was $ 15 a night, given vouchers to a bunch of local restaurants and told about the breakfast. Our room happened to be across the parking lot in the unattached building. So we walked out into the bitter cold and through the parking lot to our room. Whenever we first entered our room it was ridiculously hot and we quickly turned off the heater for the night. Other than that the room was ok I guess. It looked clean although it was pretty tiny and crowded with the two double beds, desk and dresser. Our TV remote didn’t work which was frustrating for us as we like to put our TV on sleep. To make matters even worse the first night that we were there a room near us was super loud until around 3 AM. While not entirely the hotels fault it could be heard outside and perhaps if not in a different building it would have been caught. Our friends who were located above us actually tried to call the front desk on them but their phone did not work. It wasn’t all bad though as the hotel did have a couple of redeeming qualities to it like the included breakfast. While it wasn’t the best breakfast ever it was free and had an ok selection. I think that my favorite part of the hotel was that the last night that we were there they allowed our group to use their board room to drink our beer and play games. Since a room wouldn’t have been comfortable and would have disturbed other guests we were very grateful for that.
The bottom line for me is that I probably wouldn’t stay here again in the future. While the rate per night including parking was more than reasonable, there were enough little annoying things about the hotel that would cause me to look elsewhere.

Comfortable place walking distance from the attraction. Room was clean and updated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast (waffles, eggs, bacon) can be crazy at times, but clean service. Our room had a tiny shower, no tub. I stayed an extra night because of the good value $ 90.

The good:
It’s close to all of the downtown attractions. The staff is VERY nice and they make every attempt to accommodate people if they can.
The bad:
The rooms are not kept up. Only one outlet worked in the room. Air conditioner didn’t work. Bathroom doesn’t have a fan or window. We had to charge our cell phone in the bathroom since no other outlets worked.
Breakfast is served in a small closet like room with no air conditioning so it’s close to impossible to eat in there. Most people just grab food and take it back to their room.
The bathroom is dated, and not very clean. Some mold in the shower.
The hotel restaurant is «Hooters», too funny.

My friends and I Bought this as a Groupon (2 Rooms). After being there would not go back to this hotel. The room has a jacuzzi which was nice, but the building was very old and across from the main hotel which makes me think they bought this property seprately as maybe this hotel went under and quality inn bought it and they are trying to get people to stay there as a conning them with a Groupon. My cable was not setup, I had to do that myself, my room was never cleaned after being there 2 days, I was missing a refrigerator, The ice machine does not work, the floors were not vacummed and were dirty, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, I was missing buttons on my phone. You had to walk across the street in the winter to go to the pool, therefore, we never went. My friends room was cleaned and had a refrigerator, but their heat would not turn off so it was so hot you could not stand it and they had to leave their door open. However, the staff was friendly. LOL. You also had to pay $ 15 plus tax per day for parking which they never tell you in the groupon in the fees section. I definitely will not go back there or recommend buying the groupon!

Booked through a groupon promotion… Room was nice, king bed. Bathroom was almost as big as the room if not bigger with a jacuzzi! Only downfall the shower was tiny and The tile on the shower floor was loose! Friendly staff. Overall would book again

Do NOT get a room from this place… The rooms are ok but they do not change sheets and bed spreads… To make a long story short… There were blood marks all over two pillows… DISGUSTING… YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

First stay here as my boyfriend and I bought a group on which included a wine and chocolate tour.
Reasons for the rating I gave:
This is a great location as its around many restaurants, Clifton hill and casinos.
However, the room we got does not have ac that works. They provided a fan that was not even strong enough and we couldn’t even open a window…
We tried to resolve the problem asap but the staff did not seem very responsive and gave us quick answers just to keep us at ease. We even asked to get someone to look at the ac in our room and it still wasn’t fixed hours later after we were out, and the inadequate fan was turned back on upon return.
So in conclusion this place is only decent to sleep in as were out most the time, its clean, but it sucks not having ac on a hot summers day especially when it seemed like the staff didn’t do much to fix it or switch us to another room. Ice machine doesn’t work either.
Not staying here again and learned the hard way by not reading the reviews for group on deals more accurately when it includes any hotel and inns
