I went with my friends there for a quick breakfast. We ordered our food(very simple ones, like daily special breakfast), and 20 minutes after, some other people came and sat in our next table. Soon afterwards they got their breakfast. So I asked the waitress(who seemed to be nice) to check where was our food, and after another 20 minutes, we finally got our food. We were very angry that our morning was wasted in waiting for the simple breakfast, and we missed a lot of tourist spots because of that. And we didn’t get it why other people coming later than us got food earlier. I will never go there again and warn anyone planning to go there, be careful of the terribly long waiting time!

There’s something to be said for a simple breakfast of two eggs over easy(cooked perfectly), two thick pieces of buttered toast, warm bbq beans and crispy bacon all for only $ 4, especially in the company of so many overpriced restaurants by the falls. I was staying in the nearby Hampton and found this past Saturday that the continental breakfast room was completely clogged with folks and couldn’t move at all, so took a quick 2 minute walk to bridge street to try Dad’s. It was 9 am and there was no wait, the service was speedy, the food was tasty and the environment was nice. This earns 5 stars in my book.

Niagara Falls doesn’t seem to have much to offer in the way of cool breakfast spots. We tried an iHop but their prices were insane compared to other locations so we Unilocaled and option and ended up here. There was only one review at the time and it seemed to be a good option. I have to say personally its really just a ‘nothing special greasy diner’. Décor is very dated and underwhelming. Food was o-k. Service was crisp and not on the friendly side… next time we’ll try somewhere else.

If you’re taking the train from Niagara Falls like I was, this is the closest food to the train station. Excellent breakfast, excellent value. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was great! And thanks to the cab driver who recommended it to me!
