** Please Read Before Considering ** OK, i HAVE to write this review. This place comes up first with 4 stars when you search sushi in London, ON. Please do not think this is in any way accurate. I have been now 4 times — the first with excitement that there’s a sushi place in my neighborhood. I also loved the pricing options $ 12.95 any time of day is great! The choices seem plentiful and exciting, but time and time again I’ve told myself ‘never again’…only to return later in search of a quick and cheap fix. Like this last time. We knew we’d regret beforehand, but thought ‘maybe if we order the right stuff…’. Nope. I’m on the couch feeling pretty sick to my stomach. I have to give a heads up on my experiences. First, the positives: — it’s $ 12.95 for all you can eat dinner, for the silver menu. Gold is 19.95. If You enjoy eating a lot, this might be what you’re looking for. But the quality is so low the quantity is the only plus, if that’s your thing. — if you like to be the only ones in the restaurant, this place is a ghost town. Seriously each of the 4 times I’ve been, we’ve been the only table. — the service is quick, and the owners are nice. The negatives: — almost all the food items we had. The gyoza’s we got were absolutely rotten somehow. That really left a bad taste. The chicken teriyaki was incredibly poor quality, even for AYCE meat quality standards. The miso was so thin and flavourless. The green salad was 3 pcs of iceberg slathered in an orange dressing. The nigiris a razor thin slice of fish on about a tiny bed of rice, and the rolls were under stuffed, over riced and bland. And the tempura, ohhh my… was thick as cake batter and fried in old oil, the vegetables came out heavy and hard… it wasn’t nice We quickly cancelled anything left on our order, paid and ran home to take a shot of lemon juice… just in case :/ Now, I would normally not write a negative review. I’d likely just avoid that place in the future. But for this place, and the sake of sushi, I have to. This is not a 4 star kinda place by any means. I’ve ate at every AYCE in town, and while I would recommend none of them as anything better than acceptable, this place is the worst of them all. I’m sorry but it’s just poor quality. Don’t be drawn in by the price — the extra $ 5 — $ 10 elsewhere will be worth it. I had to leave a rating that would help balance out the score and prevent others from repeating my mistakes. In sorry sushi t & e, I’d really love it if you were rad… or even decent, but every time I’ve left feeling massive regret, and I tell myself never again. If I can help just one person to avoid that same feeling, I’ll sleep a little better at night.

Great little place. Have only been here once so far but the food was great and service was even better. If your in the area it wouldn’t hurt to give it a shot.

This is one of my favourite sushi places in London. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the presentation was amazing and the sushi was perfect. We had most the rolls on the menu and they were amazing !

Husband and I frequent sushi restaurants in all parts of the city and beyond. Our experience here was not the greatest. TBH I don’t think any of the food is fresh and the maki rolls are filled with too much rice and the tempura is too battered and the grilled items seem to have the same sauce in everything which makes it start to taste all the same. Husband liked the salmon sashimi though… And ice cream is not freezer burnt like lots of places. Overall, price is OK but probably not returning.

Three of us went for dinner a few nights ago. The sushi was great. We were really happy with our night. They could do with a bit more staff but the sushi was worth the wait. Prices are fair. Portions were huge. Keep that in mind when ordering.

Wha happened? Yes. I hate to do it but last night’s experience was terrible. The rice completely overwhelmed the filling in our rolls. The cucumber roll had a pencil lead thin amount of cucumber. And it was made worse by tough seaweed. The yam tempura roll was so overdone, there was a huge chunk of rock hard yam inside one portion. I really didn’t have the heart to complain, but in retrospect I should have. I was so disappointed. I’m not sure when — or if — I shall return. Is it really true that AYCEs go downhill after a year? :(

Do you like spicy soggy salmon rolls? Dirty hose water served in an even dirtier jug? Being forced to poop down the road at Tim Horton’s so as to not join the pile up in the plugged, mouldy toilet? Then this place is for you. We read all the great reviews and figured we’d check it out. Things went awry quickly. The water jug for the table looked as if it hadn’t been washed in years, and the water inside may have been melted snow from the parking lot. Then they probably heated that snow water with a dash of miso to make the bland soup. Cheese wontons with no cheese, empty flat spring rolls, salad with half the heart of iceberg lettuce — it was a meal for the ages. Now onto the meat. Pretty sure our teriyaki was made with stewing beef and yesterday’s chicken scraps, served just as you like them, luke warm. The sashimi wasn’t fresh, and our white tuna had a nice yellowish tint. That sounds healthy, right? I’ll send updates from the emergency room. The rolls were generally not terrible but not good either. They had way too much rice and next to nothing else in them. The tempura was overcooked and tasted like a shitty beer batter. The previous reviews raved about the service, but we found the server mostly confused, especially about the rule that when you drop our sushi pizza face down on the table, you should probably try and help your customers clean it up. Or do anything at all. And when you deliver some sushi, and people ask for soy sauce(which they don’t have) your answer should not be simply«later!» But the biggest surprises were down in the hobbit hole bathrooms. Nothing is better after a night of drinking than waking into the stalls to find them full of black mould, poop splatters, and spiders. Everything was covered in a layer of grime, but there was no soap to wash it off. The toilets hadn’t been plunged forever and could not be properly flushed. To quote Randy Quaid, «shitter’s full!» The massive bottle of disinfectant at the cash probably shows we aren’t the only ones who wanted a Purell bath after eating at T&E. But don’t worry, our meal was capped off by a delightful dessert of deep fried milk, otherwise known as a ball of batter that, when poked, excretes some half frozen mucus. We spent the entire meal wondering how there are so many positive reviews on here. It was maybe the worst meal any of us have ever had.

Great sushi place, very friendly and fast service. Silver menu is $ 13, gold is $ 20. Got the silver menu and was very happy with the food. Everything came out fresh and hot!

Fantastic sushi and super service in a hard to find joint. Address is something and a half, should have been a clue! We did takeout on a Friday evening and it was ready within ten minutes! The dragon roll is delicious, as was my favourite, Hawaii roll(crab and mango). We didn’t get a chance to try any sashimi, but will definitely order some next time. My husband and I agree and this will be our go to for takeout sushi.

Looks like a sushi place you would never walk into, with so many places to choose from in London, but had the best experience at T&E than any other sushi place in London yet. Toby(the owner) is the happiest dude and loves to dish out the Sake! By far my favourite sushi bar in London.

Probably one of the best Sushi places in town. Super fresh sashimi, love the silver and gold AYCE options. Small but mighty!

Now that I woke up from my food coma. The sushi was amazing. They have to different options for their all you can eat. The Silver and the Gold. Both are equally great choices. For the extra cost do gold for the greater options.

We went in with little expectations just found out a place had AYCE sushi for 12.99. I was surprised by the food, the appetizer scallops tasted excellent. gyoza tasted great, the chicken wings looked on the over done side but tasted close to southern style chicken. the tempura shrimp was delicious had an awesome batter, unlike many restaurants in London this was nice and fluffy and not over battered like most places that want you to leave ASAP. sushi was 8⁄10 only because there was a little more rice on the rolls then we liked but they were full of flavour and had great presentation, the quality of the fish was also fresh, no complaints at our table. we had a table for 3 on a slow Saturday so the attention was on us. there are no pop refills but for the price you cant complain. they are located inside a historical building but the décor was decent.

Yesterday, I went out to lunch with some friends who randomly got an email from Unilocal with a list of sushi places and decided to try this one! I like their selection of the two different menus Silver & Golden, and the prices for these menus were phenomenal for anyone on a budget looking for an all you can eat sushi place! I highly recommend this place, atmosphere was quiet(although I was there on a Sunday afternoon) and the server(s) were great! I’ll definitely be coming back, not only for the delicious sushi and the amount you get, but for the awesome prices too!

I found this place on Just Eat when I was looking at party trays. I couldn’t believe the prices, so I decided to check out their AYCE menu. Everything looked AMAZING and it’s SO cheap. There’s enough on the silver menu to keep a regular AYCE guru happy. The floors were just being mopped when we came in, and the place was spotless. The food came out at a really nice pace, so I didn’t feel rushed like at other AYCE places. TIP: Be careful with the special rolls. Sometimes it says 6 – 8 pieces and you get 9 – 10. Just take your time, and order a few rolls at a time.

I finally made it to check this place out. I had quite high expectations and I was a little let down. First off it was so hot in there. Wayyyy too warm to be comfortable while eating. We were the only people in the restaurants which was nice but it felt like the staff were watching us eat. They were awesome about an allergy in our group. They kept all shellfish completely separate from other items and even gave us a heads up what items contained unlisted shellfish. The food was pretty good. The tempura was over cooked and wasn’t the usual Panko breaded items I was used to. The cheese wontons were good but they also had a tiny amount of actual cheese. The rolls were quite good. Huge portions that we weren’t expecting. The descriptions of the rolls are a bit confusing(Sun roll said shrimp & crab tempura with crispy and spicy sauce. There was a blob of spicy tempura sauce stuff on the top of the roll). And rolls that said tempura were deep fried as a whole instead of just the fish inside being tempura. My only complain is one member of our group ordered beef udon and the beef was either going bad, or bad. I’m still unsure about this place. I’d love to give it another shot sometime but I wasn’t overwhelmed. There was no wow factor for me.

This little sushi gem in the sea of flashy sushi restaurants in London is a diamond in the rough and worth a visit!(Give me good food! I can care less if I can order on an iPad with pictures of food that looks nothing like what it’s received!) They have the widest selection of vegetarian sushi I’ve yet seen in London. They also have two options for«all you can eat”– the Silver Menu($ 12.99/person) and the full«Gold» menu($ 19.99/person), which is great because $ 19.99/person is never economical for two vegetarians! Plenty of options on the Silver menu! Thanks for the extra«all you can eat» option! The service was attentive and homey! Just what one would expect of a nice«Mom and Pop» resto!

The #1 thing I absolutely loved at Sushi T&E was the service. Upon entering, we had someone open the door for us, they helped explain to us the menu’s(the silver vs gold made us a little confused at first, but we just wanted to clarify a few things before we ordered, it’s not difficult at all), the chef even came over and opened our beers and poured them for us. You can really tell that these people love their restaurant and their patrons. The food was okay, the miso soup was a bit weak and thin, the nori(seaweed) in the rolls seemed thicker than normal and difficult to chew at times. The sun roll had a huge scoop of the crispy spicy tempura on top of an already large roll so it was very difficult to eat. I could have done with just a little bit of this mixed into the roll instead. We had ordered some sushi items and they didn’t arrive. Maybe they thought we bit off more than we could chew and didn’t bring it to us? Maybe they forgot? Either way, they were so nice that we didn’t care. It’s AYCE so it wasn’t like we were out any money(and it was a blessing in disguise because we were STUFFED). There’s lots of parking in the back and the prices here are amazing. Even though I didn’t have the best food experience, the service was impeccable. I will chalk it up to growing pains and give it another chance!

You get a Sushi and you get a Sushi, Sushi for everyone!!! Yes, sorry I felt a little like Oprah up in here. Anyways, don’t let the location distract you. In the spot that formerly housed Bob’s Fish & Chips this AYCE Sushi joint is doing it right. The price for one is beyond amazingly affordable, which would normally lead you to believe the food was going to make you go buyer beware… but the only thing you need to be aware of is that it’s delicious! So good price, good food… alright, you’re asking what gives. Service, am I right? You know how AYCE Sushi works, food thrown on the table by staff that would rather be doing anything but dealing with you and your table of obnoxious friends? Nope! Service here is great too. Attentive(but not annoyingly so), Friendly & Helpful. Honestly I almost thought we were in the wrong place and that it couldn’t be true, but it was. I had the Silver Menu though the Gold looks great too. My recommendation would be the Excellent Rolls which were exactly that, Excellent! Try it now before it gets so popular you won’t be able to get a table.
