Tasty breakfast as it is in the picture. The coffee is pretty good too. Although there is only one piece of fruit in the meal.

Another great breakfast with that endless cup of coffee. Great waiting service with an outstanding personal touch.

Great prices, fast service, friendly staff. Best greasy spoon we found while visiting downtown Kingston. Don’t go for the décor or fine dining experience, go for a cheap hardy breakfast to start your day.

Traditional small diner breakfast. Fast service, good coffee, low prices. Nothing surprising on the menu for breakfast, but that’s ok. Everything looks good. Not fancy, but clean and nicely decorated. Lots of public parking near by. Extra points for having pea meal bacon(back bacon) in the menu.

Fantastic. Just finished breakfast at Peter’s. Small little quaint diner. Food came out to us in literally under 5 minutes. Quick service. Staff is friendly. The sausage is pretty bad, but everything except that is great.

Cheap and decent greasy spoon breakfast joint. Always a buzz, the service staff do their best to keep up but you’re often left waiting for refills of your water or drink. But the food definitely makes up for the somewhat sub-par service. Strong coffee, tasty eggs, and crispy bacon, at a reasonable price, what more do you want?

Best breakfast place in town. Always busy, for weekend brunch so be prepared to wait for a table. Other than that, the food and coffee tastes great. The prices are reasonable too! Service is mediocre to good, I’ve never had bad service there. It’s my go-to-place.

Great value for what you get. We had the pancakes which were great. G/f had eggs and sausage and came with potatoes(very good). Free coffee refills, fast service and quick turnover of patrons(so don’t let the line up scare you).

Long time returning customer, fair prices for well made basic breakfast food. Then again isn’t all breakfast food basic? Very nice servers, they even remember you and talk to you. Its very busy for a reason. The exact opposite of Morrison’s if what I said didn’t sell you enough.

This place is always busy, and for good reason. Great coffee, great food, great service. Even with a lineup, it’s worth the wait.

A great place for a quick, cheap breakfast. Service is good and the food is average but still tasty. The potatoes/hash browns may not appeal to everyone, as they have a slight BBQ seasoning/tomato ketchup flavouring to them. I can speak for the pancakes though, and they are yummy!

I have been here twice now. This is the basic local place for breakfast. Good folks, fast service and the food is good quality. If you are local or visiting, come for a meal.

If you want to gorge yourself on breakfast food on a budget, this is the place to go. I had the cheese omelette with home fries and an order of pancakes. The food was okay. Not amazing. But the portion sizes were enormous. I came in for Sunday brunch just before noon. We were seated immediately, but the place was full. We were lucky there was a table open. As we sat there and started eating, we noticed a line beginning to form at the door. By the time we had finished, there were two groups of four and two groups of three waiting to be seated. We seemed to arrive at just the right time.

I’m a new and BIG fan of Peter’s Place. I’d heard lots about Peter’s Place through the grapevine over the years, but never seemed to find an opportunity to set foot in the place. Luckily, while my folks were in town and wanted a good greasy spoon filling of breakfast, we checked out Peter’s place! It was«so excellent» and«better than that other place we’ve gone»(I won’t name names) according to my mom that we were here twice in one week! The portions are good, the service is speedy and the potatoes are done on the griddle and are well seasoned. My favourite breakfast is #7 — eggs, three meats(but hold the toast). Also — they take cash, credit and debit, so you’ll avoid a trip to the atm for cash if that’s not your thing.

Went here for breakfast food, big portions but average in taste. Excellent service(really friendly). A good diner for a cup of Joe :).

Very small and crowded with nothing to recommend about the atmosphere. Went at a busy time on Memorial day weekend(U.S. holiday). Had a western omelet. My wife had eggs over easy and peameal(sp?) bacon. Her food was passable. My omelet? Eggs were a mix of yellow of white(not scrambled), salty and dry. Coffee was o.k. Service was reasonably good. I prefer the breakfast at Morrison’s two blocks away.

Hungover? Still have too much self-respect to go to Morrison’s? Too cheap to go to Pan Chancho? Peter’s Place is for you. Simple, cheap breakfast served at break neck speed. I’m a devotee to the feta/tomato omelet but they also have a few other omelet/egg options as well as pancakes and french toast. Nothing special, but fast breakfast at 6 bucks and bottomless coffees after a late night never felt better.
