I’ve wanted to try Village Fish & Chips for some time now. I ordered take out to arrive at the restaurant to be greeted with a large«CASHONLY» sign, this was not because their debit was down, it was because they don’t have a debit machine in 2015. I now understand why the clientele is 80+ If a small portion of bland, greasy fish is your thing… you’ll love Village Fish & Chips. If you want quality fish & chips, head next door to The Royal Coachman. I won’t make the mistake of eating here again.

Here’s The Real Deal. This place is a Champion among Fish & Chips. Been open since 1969 owned and Operated by the same family since. The fish and chips are by far the best in Ontario. Fresh Fish and real Tarter Sauce if you ask. Real Milkshakes, Real home made mushy peas. This place has also your old school burgers and grease spoon menu as well. It’s worth the Drive to Waterdown if you’re shooting a movie close by and you need second meal for your crew. This place can handle your order. Neil Bos is a local legend and so is his Fish and Chips. Come one come all to this awesome little place. That’s the truth the whole truth nothing but the truth.

I’ve been wanting to go to this place for a very long time. The fries & the fish were cooked just right, and the coleslaw also wasn’t to bad. With such great service and food it’s easy to see why they’ve been around for a while.
