I came here last Sunday on my way back into Edmonton. We had our golf stuff in the back, it was a beautiful day, and all I really wanted was to be outside. I remember seeing this driving range as I drive up to baseline road to Sherwood Park, and since we were passing by we decided to stop in and check it out. You can’t access it from the main road– you have to drive to 50st, turn right and then drive behind the Rexall and Medicentre into the residential neighborhood before you hit it. So it is kind of tricky to get to, but doable. I figured the place would be packed since the weather was so nice, but it was near empty! So awesome. The price was on par(haha pun intended) with the other driving ranges in the city. It was something like $ 8 for a small bucket, $ 9 for a medium and $ 10 for a large. The also sell food and drinks so you can easily spend an afternoon hitting balls, without the crowds. We arrived at around 6pm and it was awesome because we were facing east and the sun was setting behind us. Likely means it will suck to play in the mornings as the sun will be in your face, but good for later on in the day! The green was definitely worn in, but unless you are a pro or super high maintenance, it is good enough. Next time you are on your way to Victoria Park and feel defeated by the number of people waiting to get on the range– head here instead!
