In regards to driver’s licence road tests, Gamdur sets you up to fail. He has you go to a three-​way stop where one sign was knocked over and missing (the three-​way stop is in a shopping mall lot and the stop signs do not say «3-​way»). Then if you wait for a vehicle stopped at the missing stop sign, you lose 10 points for not assuming right-​of-​way. If you did not know there is supposed to be a stop sign for the other vehicle, then it is correct to wait behind your stop sign. Then he has you drive in the left lane during rush hour and asks you to make an unsafe right turn three lanes over when the light ahead was red with stopped cars in front of you and heavy traffic in the centre lane. Finally, he fails you for obstructing traffic when you slow down on a street next to a school, which did not have the speed reduction sign. All schools have playgrounds, and one should not be penalized for slowing down near a school. The testing routine is fixed to have you come back multiple times and pay fees repeatedly. I just want to say that I had a great experience with this registry. I went to this registry to do my Alberta Advance Class 5 Road Test. I would like to specifically mention about my examiner Mr. Gamdur Brar. Mr. Gamdur Brar was an extremely fair and reasonable examiner. He has the proper judgment and instinct to differentiate between a decent driver and someone who is totally not following the rules. He may come across intimidating at first, but he means well and he only wants you to follow the rules and be safe. Please ask him all the questions you have before your exam and listen to all his suggestions. I would highly recommend this registry and Mr. Gamdur Brar!!!
