Crowfoot Liquor Store Beddington

I have to side with Sarah Louise about the odd selection of employees here.
Not readily helpful, not all fluent in English (I am not judging the person, but rather the choice to have someone in the service industry who is picking up phone calls), and not very knowledgeable about their location, services, or products. I had many frustrating phone calls with them. I guess when you go to the signature location, all of the rest will be somewhat of a disappointment… but definitely a disappointing location.

They just stare at you and don’t greet you with hi or how are you? They profile people treating people that they don’t care to say hi to like they are stealing. They are rude and it says open until 2 am every night of the week on their site but you will find them closed at 12 most nights

I stopped here over the weekend to see if Crowfoot carried one of my favourite seasonal beers. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a woman who didn’t even really look like she was working there as she had on a coat, etc and asked if I needed anything. I told her I was fine, and proceeded to the beer cooler. I have to say, the selection here (at least over the weekend) wasn’t great, and was highly unorganized. I was honestly just getting a headache even looking for my brewery of choice in the selections, which they didn’t have. They actually didn’t have much of anything that I would prefer; I was surprised as I’ve seen much better selection and organization at other Crowfoot locations.
I stepped out of the cooler, and was eyed by the two staff as though they had nothing better to do but make their customers feel all watched and creeped out. Nothing else really appealed to me, and the store just seemed in general disarray. I would recommend checking out the Co-​op liquor store right across the way for a classier liquor store experience.
Also, I hope the owner of this chain’s last name is actually Crowfoot; otherwise I find the name very culturally insensitive.

Why have I not shopped here more often? It’s because I didn’t know they have liquor tastings, and not just one at a time. I dropped in a few Fridays ago and they had four reps in the store, all with different products. Beer, wines and rum. Really, there is no better way to keep your bar up to date than by taking the time to sample the latest and greatest. What a resource, especially if they have more than one rep on the floor. I’ll definitely return on a weekend when I’m running low on stock in hopes of repeating my experience.
