ABSOLUTELYTHECOLDESTBEERINTOWN! Great service, all the workers seem exceptionally polite. Prices are pretty good for a small store but the selection is even better for a smaller store! They even special order items for you if its available. I was looking for a specific vodka and they were able to bring it in for me. I would rather spend the extra $ 1 – 2 for a case of beer, as long as its ice cold(the way beer is meant to be sipped) opposed to the piss warm beer at Superstore. To date, I have not had colder beer from any other store. A bonus is it has a good pizza place next door, and a good Vietnamese restaurant as well. A+

You know what, Bedford Liquor? You’re A-OK by me. Lucky for me, Unilocal has a rating specifically designed for this exact situation! Bedford liquor is a definite A-OK local liquor store for the Beddington hood. If you’re close and looking for something popular, you’ll probably find it here. There’s not an exceptional selection, but they carry the basics and they have them at a good price. Not the lowest price in town, but their hours are great and if you’re close, already had a few and are looking for a quick beer run they don’t gouge you. The people working are friendly with a bit of shyness. I only come here occasionally, as my mom lives within a block away, so they’re still straight up business to me. My mom, however says that once you go there a little bit they really open up and get to know you. Personally, I think this is a great way to run a business. My mom, however, has started to feel self conscious about it, saying things like«You go get the wine, I can’t go there anymore. The liquor store people know my name!» She’s even gone so far as to go other liquor stores instead so the owners of Beford Liquor wouldn’t see her back again buying more beer. BUT, after going to Crowfoot Liquor and getting charged $ 29 for a 12 of Kokanee, she went«whaaaaat?!» took her business to Co-Op Liquor where they were asking $ 27 for a 12. Next thing she knows, she’s left Co-Op and is having a conversation with the lady at Bedford Liquor, telling her that they have a great price and she loves their store — Still $ 27, but at Bedford Liquor you get a 15 pack for the price of 12 at Co-Op. That’s 3 free beers, my friends. See? This store is A-OK! Alright, stop! Wine time.
