Fantasy Leather & Calgary Shoe Hospital

As you can see from the pictures I posted on here, my boots were in need of new lifts on the heels. One of them had a big hole in the lift. The other was cracking and would need fixing soon too. So I brought them to the Calgary Shoe Hospital. The lady told me that the lifts on my boots were just plastic so they crack easily. She said they could be replaced for $ 20. Of course I agreed and was able to pick them up in a week. They look like new and here’s hoping they’ll last a lot longer than the originals.

Have you ever woken up from a drunken stooper to find that you’ve broken your glasses or lost your wallet? Well, the other morning I woke up after excessive partying only to find a strap on my favourite part of boots ripped off one side. I thought it was the end of the world.
Needing the boots in this cold winter weather, I wore them anyways on my excursions. I was happy when I stumbled upon Fantasy Leather in Beddington Mall. I thought I’d jump in to see what he could do about the shoe, thinking I would need to come back another day.
He took the shoe from me and went into the back to see if he had a matching stud. When he came out he told me he could fix the shoe and it would only take 5 minutes and cost $ 5. I thought it was too good to be true, so I gave him the shoe and browsed the store wearing only the other one.
The store was full of all types of leather products; shoes, jackets, belts, purses and wallets. Actually, there were a couple of really cute clown and butterfly purses I thought would be perfect for a little girl. The stuff was somewhat pricey, but what do you expect from all leather products?
Well, after waiting for only a few minutes, sure enough the worker emerged with my shoe — all fixed up. And sure enough, it only cost $ 5. I was amazed at how simple, quick and pleasant the experience was. Now I forget what I was fretting about the whole time!
