This is a very nice place to eat in downtown Brugge Belgium. It had a refined higher end feel but it is not pretentious. The food is very good, I had scallops for an appetizer and they were soft and lightly buttery and for the main course venison and baked potato with vegetables and mashed root of something… I also had apple pie with ice cream and coffee for dessert. We had a group of 14 and covered pretty much the whole menu and everyone enjoyed their meal. The waitress was friendly as well and it is quaint. Its a short walk from the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Stumbled on this place while wandering around beautiful Bruges on a cold November evening. It is small and well decorated so we decided to give it a go. In short the food was excellent and the wine list was well appointed. The beer list was a bit limited, but we’d had a few already that day and wine was in order. Food: I had the scallops with chicory which were very tasty. The portion was large and more than enough for me. The sauce was rich and smoky, but did not overpower the taste of the scallops which were cooked perfectly. My girlfriend had the mixed grill which was fanfrekintastic. She liked everything except the site sausage because of its soft texture, which I thought was yummy… So it all worked out. Like a royal taster I sampled each meat in the mixed grill and found them all delicious. The only bad thing was we were absolutely stuffed and saved no room for dessert. Staff: The staff was one chef(who you can watch work from the dining room), one sous chef and one server. The server was very pleasant and happy to help us make our selections. Location: Just a few blocks off the main square.

We were walking around Brugge looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon this quaint little restaraunt, and I am so glad we did! The service was beyond excellent and the food was phenomenal! If I lived around here I would definitely be a regular! 5 stars for sure, would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a classy place to dine and take their time enjoying a wonderful meal and good company! I must stress that our server was very friendly, considerate of dietary restrictions and incredibly accommodating and cordial!
