My visit to Lavish lasted a awkwardly long hour (and a bit.)
…To be fair it was pouring outside, and short of funds
I was forced to become the browse-​around-​but-​not-​buy-​anything
suspicious and damp shopper.
The first half hour went by pleasantly enough though,
this store is overflowing with beautiful products.
I was torn from left to right wondering what I should look at first,
the intricate handpainted porcelain cups? the cute wooden brooches?
the line of rich smelling candles? the Artisan jewellery?
(Predictably I ended up in the clothing section.)
The sales lady was also super sweet, friendly and managed
to have a laugh with me about the weather.
Cute, Quirky and housing the sweet 5 Sugars coffeeshop to boot!
you’ll be hard pressed to find a better way to spend an
afternoon in Woolloongabba.

With aromas of several lit scented candles filling the air, this shop on Logan Road calms the senses and inspires your inner interior decorator.
Selling everything from beautifully designed jewellery depicting deer, owls and Santa Clauses, through to scented soaps, writing pads and baby clothes. It’s the perfect place to pick up your Christmas gifts… or in my case, just splurge on pampering yourself. After all, you’ll never be great company during the Christmas break without spreading a little joy to yourself!
When you’ve finished marvelling at all of the products, many of which you justify buying by saying that your home would not be complete without it; further indulge over coffee and cupcake. Yes, this place really is a treat for all of your senses!
