I was very pleasantly surprised at the deliciousness of the food here considering it is a healthy food café– as me and a «healthy brunch» are not really on speaking terms, in fact I would go so far as to call us frenemies. I had the baked eggs which were phenomenal(big call I know!) and the soft shell crab burger looked amazing too. The staff here were lovely and even on a drab and rainy Melbourne morning we could sit in the courtyard under the protection of a leak free roof and with the warmth of outdoor heaters. Definite luxury! The healthy baked good on display look yummy and sweet, and not at all to kale and quinoa stuffed as to put you off. As someone who scoffs in the face of chia muesli for brunch I would definitely recommend coming here for brunch or lunch– who knew healthy could taste so good?!

Very ordinary food– menu does not have much to choose from and they do not allow ANY substitutions or additions. There are many other restaurants on chapel that are far better then this place.

Great café with a nice menu. Had the acai bowl on a nice warm day and it was delicious! Also opted for the watermelon juice and it was very refreshing. All the other food and drinks being served around me looked amazing as well. Will definitely be back to try more things!

Even if you dont eat here… you have to at least try the coffee! First taste was sensational! It actually tasted like coffee. Originally from Perth we struggle to find a flat white that is flat and doesnt taste like just milk. This is smooth, rich and flavorsome. Mr Mister is a funky little place we sat outside watching the world go by and chilled. Highly recommended.

Super café in Prahran on Chapel Street. We were taken here by a friend who had been previously. There’s seating inside, out the front and in the courtyard out the back. It was a cool day and we sat in the courtyard but it was cosy with the patio heaters and blankets provided. The menu had plenty of interesting items. I had a beautiful fish cake on spinach with a perfectly poached egg on top. Yum! Nice presentation too.

Waited a long time for the food to come. I had the bacon slab and it was completely underwhelming making me feel a little bit ill. Flavours were average and there was no evidence of chilli salt. Very disappointed and considering not even finishing the meal. Wouldn’t come again although coffee was of a good standard. Update: I shared my experience with the staff and to their credit they waived the cost of it. Service was friendly. Did leave still hungry though because I couldn’t eat it. Raw slab of bacon making my stomach turn.
