Excellent coffee, imaginative fresh food created and served by a great team. My local… how lucky am I !

Anchored at a nearby hospital this little corner shop pumped out some excellent sandwiches, coffees and choc/peanut butter cookies that made the wait much more bearable. I’m not one to eat cookies/sweets but the beastly inch thick, 8−9cm wide ones they had cooling fresh out of the oven lured me in. Espresso was balanced, creamy, thick, clean finish. Milk coffees lovely. Sandwich with feta, canalised onion, pumpkin, and rocket was incredible. My wife was a few hours out of a general anaesthetic and devoured the whole thing in record time. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Store was warm and cosy on a drizzling day and well priced to boot. Highly recommended.

LOVE! Expect creative, delicious and lovingly prepped meals — brekky options run the gamut from gourmet to classic(boiled eggs and cheesy toast soldiers). Baristas are brilliant, and peanut Choc chip cookies will are a gateway drug for all their yummy baked goods.

An old-school corner milkbar/deli in the back streets of Windsor, this is the place to come for massive deli sandwiches(think corned beef mustard pickles and cheese), a carton of milk, and maybe a Coconut Rough for afternoon tea. There’s some interesting offerings at breakfast, and value wise you’re better sticking to the more unusual items, like the spinach and mushroom soufflé or the avo and tomato on toast. If you go for the regular eggs, toast and a couple of sides, you’re looking at paying well over $ 16 for a not overly generous breakfast. Really good freshly squeezed OJ and a seat in the sun helps to revive the foggiest morning brain… The cakes are awesome — last time I went there was an epic Red Velvet cake on offer — and the brownies have a cult following. Make a visit to relive the childhood memories of your favourite milkbar.
