The Brickhouse

A new establishment specialising in brick building toys (Lego, duplo etc) to entertain kids. The store offers a decent sized play area that is divided into three sections — one for booked parties, one for older kids and one for the younger group. Our Little T is 19 months old and there wasn’t a huge variety of toys that he could play with. The owners had thoughtfully provided some toys other than Lego so our man played with that and then a few of the Duplo blocks and giant Lego pieces.
Price point I thought was fair, $ 6 for an hour of play. My only concerns were that the place does get very noisy and messy with kids playing everywhere. Of course this is to be expected but I for one would think twice before going back because of the exposure to small Lego pieces. Definitely better suited to kids 4 years up.
