Lazer Blaze

First visited Darkzone on my 11^th Birthday, and 14 years later I’m still a member. A Great location, and a great night out.

Although the idea of kids running around «shooting» each other is a bit of a worry, when you see their faces after exiting from a game or party at Dark Zone, you realise that they don’t seem to think of it as a shooting game.
Dark Zone games consist of kids and adults wearing an electronic vest and carrying around a «phasor». Each time someone pulls the trigger on their «phasor», and hits someone else’s vest, the vest will light up and register a hit. Points are scored every time a vest is hit and the opponent’s base is «destroyed».
The Willetton Dark Zone is in a fantastic place. Upstairs in the Southlands Shopping Centre, you can eat at one of the few eateries, enjoy at coffee and then perhaps stroll around downstairs and take a look at the shops. If you prefer, you can play a game at Dark Zone then visit the Hoyts cinema to take in a movie.
Dark Zone also hosts birthday parties, social club parties and school parties. There are also super sessions, nine ’til one sessions, and lock out sessions.
Please be aware though, that children must be 7 and over to play and that joggers or sneakers must be worn.
