Rump and Grind

I got told about this place and shown the photos from Instagram and its sensational. Went there pretty close to closing on Thursday and they still had a great selection of goods, when I say goods I mean tonnes of meaty goodness — so much on offer that I wanted one of everything but would end up in a meat coma. Which is why I went back on Friday to try even more.
Sausages /​meatballs /​morning glory (sausage saluting in pastry) other things I can’t pronounce but looked sensational and those are just the snacks or little person meals. Moving up to massive pies (so big I didn’t know how the pastry contained it or how it all tasted so excellent as the laws of physics suggested it should fall apart when I tried to eat it) steak and egg sandwiches, beef and gravy rolls you name it they have it (check out the website or Instagram).
The ladies here are wonderful and helpful they let me know what the daily specials were and directed me to some of their must haves. This place is for any person who loves meat wrapped up in something else — sometimes even just wrapped up in more meat (see meat muffin — bacon base and side sausage meat interior and egg on top, absolute treat) and the coffee isn’t bad either — especially considering when I asked for a double espresso she had to clarify that meant no milk and it still came out better than some coffee shops I could mention .
This will be a regular especially if I need to soak up any booze after a big night and definitely stopping in on a Tuesday as that’s burger day .
This place is tucked out of the way but still easy to get to so do yourselves a favour and check it out also if you need to buy meat for dinner it’s in with a butcher so you can pretty much get everything you need for the one spot.
