I think this place is absolutely delightful. My first ever trip to a Tuart Hill café and it won’t be the last. Nothing pretentious about this place at all, just a friendly honest café with friendly, attentive staff! Only one glitch, it was very hot inside despite the air con being on. Not much reprieve outside either so this is definitely something to work on. However, the owners and staff are more than happy to accommodate wherever possible. Attentive owner helps staff where necessary and the service is wonderfully friendly and the café itself is quirky and interesting. Good coffee, spacious and close to home with great service. Delicious and fresh eggs benny with a side of beans means this is probably the new regular for me! Happy days!

Glad to see a place with good coffee open up near my house. Only been here for breakfast and coffees but it does the job for me. Simple brekkys on offer, coffee is great, staff are friendly. Relaxed place to camp and read or get some work done.

Awesome cute kitchy retro style local neighbourhood café set on the busy wanneroo road but banked alonfmg a small area of local butchers, chemist, patisserie. Love the retro style décor, blast from the past books, videos, old school stuff awesome to look at. It has a comfy couch and small tables and colourful chairs. Good coffee upgraded to a mug for 50c extra, nice food and friendly staff. I enjoyed the breakfast meal deal — coffee and bacon and egg roll. Came out on awesome retro style plates was yummy nicely cooked. Great to see a small neighborhood café with good coffee in my hood :) will definitely be back here!

Two stars because it’s saving grace is that the Coffee is good. The décor is a tacky 80s clash but does have lots of cool board games and stuff to look at. The food unfortunately was a big let down. I ordered the zucchini fritters. The plate came out poorly presented and the«fritters» we’re a mushy mix of zucchini onion and egg, it fell apart upon touch. I have stopped by since for the odd takeaway coffee, but the food is expensive for what it is — a poorer version of your sloppiest home cooked breakfast.

This place is great to go to during breakfast time. The staff and service was quick and so friendly. The lovely lady was transparent and honest about where the food came from and how she prepares her baked goods very early in the morning. The retro look is fun and I enjoyed reading a 1991 issue of Woman’s Day. ‘The Big Fry-Up’ is delicious and more than enough to keep you fed for a long time! I’m lucky that I live closeby to this place. It looks like a place I’ll visit often. Their service, energy and environment is something great to wake up to.

Went to Raymonds for the first time for breakfast last week and it’s full of blasts from the past. It’s on a busy road and near a foot bridge. It’s not fully kitted out though and feels like it’s only part way finished. But that’s OK, the coffee was fantastic which is essentially what you need from a café and if it wasn’t for the tight time frame I would have had another one. The breakfast was pretty good but the one thing i really wanted they didn’t have any of. When brekky came out it wasn’t super hot which is a bit of a bug bear for me, it kind of felt like it was on the pass for a few minutes while the other plate was being prepared and was allowed to cool. The bacon was deliciously crispy the way I like it. Customer Service was friendly and unobtrusive. The music was great — not too loud and good selection — and a few of the songs were straight from our wedding song list. There’s nothing on the menu that really makes it stand out as a speciality though, so it’ll likely make it into the list of above average coffee café’s that have a ho hum food menu. They also offer the ability to text through your coffee order which I thought was cool. It’s not walking distance from my house unfortunately, but I’ll most likely be back at some stage for another crack at breakfast. The zucchini fritters sounded amazing but alas they didn’t have any.

I’ve checked out Raymond’s a couple of times now. What I love: — There’s finally a café near my house — this area is a café wasteland! — It’s dog friendly — they even have homemade dog biscuits that they bake for your pooch for free. — Great free Wi-Fi — Pretty good friendly customer service What could be better: — I think the range of food could be better. Yesterday they closed the kitchen at 1pm(huh?) and they only had a couple of rolls, a wrap and one salad in the display cabinet. — I think the food could be better too, the one salad that they had was just lettece and cucumber in a bowl and my wrap(which I was asked if I wanted it toasted, and said yes) had lettuce in it which I didn’t realize, so once toasted was a wilted toasted wrap. Breakfast might be more their forte?

Love this local café. It has bought people out of their quiet lives in Tuart Hill and Yokine for breakfast on the weekends and business people for great coffee, cakes and lunches during the week. I go there regularly for a mocha and muffin or brownie and sometimes indulge in a homemade lunch. The staff are friendly and my baby boy is welcomed every time.
