By far, the best butcher and meat quality in Perth. The prices are a little higher than most places, but the quality speaks for itself. My partner and I usually buy the meat packs for $ 100 each and they last us about 2⁄3 months. If there is something in the Meat pack that you don’t like, they are more than happy to change it to something that better suits you. Overall the meat packs are excellent value for money. The staff always remember our names and the atmosphere is fantastic. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family over any other butcher.

I can not believe it took me so long to try this place out, given I live right around the corner but wow was it worth the wait. I love steak, I just love steak, I really do. I might be a little biased about anything steak related because I just don’t do vegetarian, not now not ever. I love my steak and often think about whether having a fine cut porterhouse with a couple of lamb chops on the side would be too much. This place to me is paradise. The range of meats available from beef thru to goat had me standing in the store for a long time trying to work out not so much what I wanted to get but what would have to wait until next time I visit. There is also a range of cheese and other gourmet foods that you can get and it has that rare quality of awesome service from every staff member there. If you would like a particular cut of meat in a particular way they are more then happy to cut it for you right before you eyes There was a crowd when I rolled on in mid morning on a Saturday and if anything it got busier in the time I was there. If I could have wheeled a BBQ down to the shop so I could cook my steak right there and then I would have!

So I finally tried this butcher out today, after Just D’s recommendations. Yes a lot of their products are reasonably expensive, but that’s because they’re top quality products. I also found that if you purchased their specials(porterhouse and Angus beef today) it was actually very affordable. Loved that they had a range of sides for sale too — salads, roast veg, pasta. However I did buy the roast veg, thinking it just needed warming up in the oven quickly, seeing as they appeared roasted and were being sold as a prepared meal option. I served them piping hot, only to find they were rock hard. Would be great if the roast veg was actually roasted. Can be a bit hard to score a park, especially with the one way/medium strip situation. Customer service was great.

It’s my new favourite place for all things meaty. There’s always a crowd of customers and an equal crowd of staff, calling all the ladies, young and old«love» in that old fashioned, funny way. Even the apprentice is doing it now! No cut is ever unobtainable. Despite a wide selection that includes local beef, lamb, pork, goat, rabbit and chicken, much of it free range, the lads are quick to whip you up something from the back if it’s not on display. Fillet steak cut to your liking right in front of you. Bulk chicken wings for $ 1.99/kg. Smallgoods and fresh Italian breads also available daily. If you need something specific, call ahead and they will get it for you, if they haven’t already got it. Plenty of off-street free parking available.

Came here last week with friends because they wanted to feed me and fed me they did. And yups, this is paradise for meat lovers, for sure! It’s a small shop and the guys working here were really friendly. We ended up buying about $ 80+ worth of peri peri chicken, pork ribs, sausages, pork belly bacon and gigantic lamb shanks and we finished everything in 2 days! You can buy meat that’s unmarinated or marinated. I was pretty impressed and looking forward to going back for more lamb shanks!

I use to drive past this shop every week and it never appealed to me. Yes I love a good steak and absolutely adore a lamb chop, but I just couldn’t bring myself to walk through the door, the logo is shocking and the name is just awful. If it is marketing their products to me it has definitely failed. I did finally did order some meat on recommendation of a few friends, so I got over my preconceived ideas and went on line and ordered steaks, lamb and chicken and they were lovely, very good quality indeed. They also sell quails and goat here which is usually hard to find at the local butcher, actually they sell pretty much anything at this place, if it had a heartbeat they sell it to you for your dinner. The service was great and I am sure we will order again from them
