Yet another Italian restaurant in this area. In the small cluster of food places here on Main street there is one Chinese, one Thai restaurant a subway and a wok in a box and every café and restaurant is Italian. This isn’t a bad thing though because I do love the food and coffee here, I just wonder how they all survive. Café Bellini has a pretty full crowd even in the middle of a work day it looked like a corporate meeting/lunch place as there were lots of people here when I wandered in. Meals aren’t completely cheap the Entre price is around $ 15 to $ 35 for a main $ 145 for their sea food platter something ridiculous. Fully licensed with a nice looking bar full of bottles.

Café Bellini doesn’t look like much from the outside but it is quite the surprise. I love Italian restaurants that are family run, it always means the food will be tastier and the service will be excellent. This place isn’t exactly the Ritz but it is a warm restaurant that dosn’t abide by franchise conformities. Little mistakes that don’t affect the food are always welcome in these fooderies. A gripe I would have would be the cost of their chilli mussels. I can’t see how a small restaurant in Osborne Park can charge more than a large outlet in Fremantle where the overheads are considerably higher. Regardless a nice spot if you end up here.

Bellini is nice, quaint little restaurant. They do the usual pasta, pizza and mains selection though their mains contain some very tasty little surprises. The Lemon and Sage Spatchcock I devoured was testimony to this, as it left me satisfied and with the need to eat something else that was as tasty. The décor is pleasant, with wall hangings to liven the spaces up and make the restaurant seem busy. The service is what made me really appreciate the place though, you can easily tell that it is family run because of how friendly all the staff are. There just isn’t a substitute for nice, chatty, family run restaurants. A delight.
