Came by to get some beef cheeks for a Sunday cook up. The Butcher here is great, he asked if I’d cooked them before(which I hadn’t) gave me a good idea of how long I should cook the meat for and gave a few ideas of what kind of dishes you could use the meat in, even pointing out a delicious looking pie(beef cheeks, Guinness and bacon if I remember correctly) that they cook themselves. Good thing about local butchers vs Woolies /Coles is you can get just the right quantity you are looking for = nothing goes to waste /ends up in the back of the freezer for eternity! Meat was great quality and was the centrepiece of a delicious meal — will definitely be visiting again.
