Seriously tasty Chinese food at at very reasonable price. Try the spring onion pancakes! As weird as it sounds they are the best!

Good alternative for delicious, cheaper soup dumplings!
I’m a huge fan of soup dumplings! This is very comparable to the famous ding tai fung dumplings but at a lower cost but just as good or if anything better! This joint is a pretty large restaurant located on the L1 floor of the Pitt street mall. The quality of the dumplings are very good and tasty.
I ordered the shanghai noodles with spring onion, dried shrimp & soy sauce was a pleasant surprise! It came out with a clear bowl of broth as well to help keep the noodles from going dry in your mouth. It was SO good! Very chewy texture to the noodles but it had so much flavor. Second dish was the crab meat xiao long bao which did contain a little bit of pork (which I didn’t die — I am a pescetarian) I thought it would be pure crab meat but in the end it still have pork in it to hold the dumpling together. Lastly, the best dish of all was the Prawn wontons with chilli oil, peanut & sesame sauce. It was a little pricier but so worth ordering. The perfect balance between the chili oil, peanut & sesame made it drool worthy. It’s a MUST order dish! You will not be disappointed. I’ll definitely order this every time I come back here. Everyone started dipping their dumplings in the sauce in the end to get as much flavor as possible.
I’m excited for the next time I come back here, they have high quality dumplings at a reasonable price.

Well, second day in a row that I come back to have lunch at this restaurant.
Yesterday experience was good, and I like the ambience in this place, so maybe that’s the things that keep me want to experience more.
I had crab meat Xiao long Bao and steamed «lions head» meat ball in broth, crab meat and Chinese chestnut.
Over all was really good. Meat ball was soft in texture, I do believe the mixed pork, crab and chestnuts together in a meat ball pattie.
Honestly need more chestnut to give you a crunchy texture on the meat ball, but that’s my personal opinion.
Today, I ordered chicken and corn soup as an entrée and pan fried crab meat and pork bun.
Nice soup base and some shredded chicken thigh fillet scattered on the soup, to be honest nothing fancy but good enough to warm your tummy and get your palate going for the next dish.
Pan fried bun came in 8 pcs served (lucky Chinese number), with sprinkles of black sesame on top m, unfortunately buns a bit thick as the need to hold some soup inside, but taste wise it was beautiful, crunchy texture on the bottom of the buns, I like it very much!
