This place was flat out lunch time on a Tuesday! But they have a good system with buzzer to ensure you don’t miss your name being yelled out. The staff weren’t what I would call friendly but they got the job done while it was flat chat. I got Phở take away which I thought wouldn’t work but surprisingly it worked quite well. Hot soup in one container and other ingredients in another. Combine. Walla ! You have beef noodle soup that tasted pretty damn good. I would go back if I was in the mood for phở but that food court has EVERYTHING! So the choices are almost endless!

I normally would not expect food court vietnamese to be this tasty but it is Westfield so… all standards are elevated. This place does not disappoint! The meat spring rolls have pork and shrimp in them but are well seasoned and not too shrimpy or meaty(if that makes sense), just perfectly balanced. The accompanying salad was the expected, generous size portion with cucumbers, bean sprouts, and carrots, and the staff were happy to fulfill my request for extra fish sauce. With spot on, simple, tasty Vietnamese flavors, I’d come back to try everything they have on the menu. I went at an off time(late afternoon on Friday) and the service was really quick, but I wouldn’t guarantee that same experience for everyone, given how busy every single vendor is during weekday lunch at this food court. Still, I think this is yet another food option worth the wait here. My salad was $ 13.50 which seems a bit steep but isn’t really in comparison to everything else in the food court.

Another new establishment that has made Westfield Sydney home as of the 19th of July 2012. The owner has brought her love and passion of street based food into the city of Sydney, and boy it is amazing. This establishment acts like a bistro style dining experience with informal, street like ambience. Cool and cosy. You’re given a buzzer that beeps when your food is ready — your time to come and collect. All dishes are served in quality Westfield Sydney dishes. Their rice paper rolls are rather fresh. Adorable and flavoursome. Their vegetarian spring rolls have some crunch. The standout is that amazing peanut sauce. The problem is I want more of this amazing concoction. The only let down is that the serving sizes should be more generous. Tasty food. If you love Vietnamese food, then this establishment is worth a visit!
