My husband and I came across Mughlai on Magill by accident, we picked up a takeaway menu that was blowing down Magill Rd and on a whim decided to try it out.
What a find! The owner was a famous Bollywood actress and dancer and her movie photos adorn the walls so that’s an interesting talking point. The food is fantastic, lots of variety, there are good sized serves and if you like hotter curries then that’s what you get. The prices are reasonable too. It is now one of our favourite Indian restaurants. It certainly deserves a try if you like Indian food or if you want to experiment.

Loved the northern Indian style. Will ask for it to be more spicey next time, I think it’s aimed at the average Adelaide palate. Everything is cooked as you wait. Our host was generous with her time and her stories and the quality of the food. And the ice cream was fantastic!

Mughlai on Magill Road, is a medium sized Indian restaurant on Magill road.
Despite the slightly dodgy exterior, the interior of the restaurant is quite welcoming, albeit no frills in terms of décor.
The menu offers traditional Indian cuisine at fairly decent prices. It is not frequently too busy, so service is good and fairly personalized. Staff a friendly and helpful.
