This pizzeria is a good local haunt. Plenty of seating and modern inside, and of course there are waiters with accents! However, not all of them, Italian! They serve the Italian classics for breakfast, lunch and dinner and a few not so authentic like sliders!!! For entrée, we tried the arancini with peas, bolognese sugo and mozzarella di bufala. Unfortunately, I didn’t taste the peas or the sugo. For mains, we went for the ‘Parma’ pizza with San Marzano tomato, mozzarella di bufala, prosciutto crudo and rocket as well as the ‘Catanzaro’ of mozzarella di bufala, hot salami, mushrooms, olives and fresh chilli. The pizzas are OK. The base is really thin, but too soggy from the tomato for my liking, but the crust is fluffy. It seems they haven’t mastered their slicing technique either. We mangled our pizzas pretty badly trying to pull apart our not so well-cut pieces! On the plus, our service was very friendly and attentive. Darker ambience, concrete floor and exposed bricks make the charming blue-tiled wood-fired pizza oven standout, but the TV is a little tacky. Feels well-suited for lunch and group bookings.
